It is obvious that these calls were made to a targeted group of people. Not sure of the true nature of the calls but I am certain it is not to sell us things or services.

This call comes from a liar, a cheat, and someone who is getting hit with divorce papers. Its a random number so his wife wont find out.

When this number call some guy with an indian voice said that he was calling from MICROSOFT and my personal PC was infected and they were here to help! I inmediately realized this was scamm and ask for a return number to call back because I was busy, the guy gave me the run around saying that he was much too busy to give me his direct line and said he will call back. To my surprise the idiot called back again but this time the call when to vm. How in the world these people are getting cell phone numbers. What a waste of one's time.

I guess I should start off with this: I don't give my number out to anyone. The people who need to contact me know the various methods, and therefore, exchanging this kind of information would be insignificant.
Secondly, I don't put my cell phone number on any sites or for anything I sign up for. EVER.
If you see this number, don't pick up. These people are ridiculous. If we wanted what they were selling, we'd go to them.
It just pisses me off how "companies" do this...

REMEMBER: DON'T ANSWER.

My cell phone is pay as you go, so it costs me 20 cents for every spammer who calls. I do not give this number to anyone, ever. So these spammers must be randomly calling numbers. Irritating. At least I can see the state they come from, thus I don't pick up.

These rats are just dialing numbers numerically. It does not matter if you have an unlisted number or cell phone. They are dialing one number after another. No one is safe. Do not give the phone companies money to change your number. It does not matter what number you have.

How, on Earth did a telemarketer get my cell phone number?????????? I thought cell phone numbers were unlisted! I am very careful of who I give my numbers too, and block all telemarketers from my home phone, but unable to block with my cell phone. I no longer give out my cell phone as "optional" even to business that I do business with! They ask "do you have a cell number or a alternative number we can call?" My reply.."no." Therefore, I definitely do not give my cell number to anyone that I do not do business with, let alone to someone I do business with. However, someone is selling our numbers, even if they state they do not. Like, for instance, Google email when you need a new password. In fact...yep, that is who it has to be. That is the only business that I gave my cell number to recently (because I changed it after I learned my error - before I gave the number to Google, who were the only source to receive it). They insisted on sending a text with the pin number to verify who I am. WARNING! Find another way to verify your identity with such services!
