I too recieved a call exactly like Ellanor. This is a scam. I think we should be able to report them to the FBI.

Credit card service to lower interest rate. Wanted my check routing and account# and other credit cards #'s. They advised they were acting in behalf of the credit card company. I advised I would call back AFTER I contacted the credit card company they hung up. Ranking Company also called using 212-669-7589, a New York phone #.
I did call the credit card companies advising of this scam.

What, you think your ''prepay cell phone'' number is some state secret? Criminals with autodialers do not need to ''find'', ''get'', or ''have'' your phone number any more than you need to own the numeral '7' before throwing dice to win at a gambling table.

800Notes comments asy it's a credit reprice scammer, a girlfriend of ''Rachel'' or ''Heather''. Would someone here like to confirm?
