This guy said his name was Douglas Smith from Giants, Inc. However, I know it's not now. He wanted to talk about placing an order with our company for Hot Sauce. He was saying that is didn't want something too hot. He asked me how hot I could take it? At this point that wasn't an unusual question for us to get. Then is asked again. When I told him my condition wouldn't allow me to use hot sauce. He said well there are throat exercises you can do. That's when I said I'm not going there and he hung up before I could. I know when you hear this it looks like I totally fell right into it. I was trying to be professional. We do get some odd questions that are valid. But at that point I knew I'd been had. He knew about our products and my bosses name so I'm sure he found our info online.
This number keeps calling...so this is what I did...You may not be able to stop the call, but you may be able to silence the ring. This requires that your phone allow you to assign ring tones to contacts. For known contacts, you assign an audible ring tone. The result is the phone can only be heard when a known contact calls. Your phone may have a built in silent ring tone like mine...a Samsung.
God they call three times a day. I've called back too and says no voice mail set up. I am going to call some cell phone companies to find out who the provider is.
Nobody on the line when I answered. 252 area code is in North Carolina and the 305 exchange in is MANTEO, NC, on the outer banks near Nags Head. My bet is is a sales pitch, vacation, time share spiel. There's nothing else up there.....
get a call from this # everyday at different times. If I answer, no one is there. If I call the #, no one answers.
