I too received Brazilian herbal weight loss text spam. Reported to FCC Do Not Call site but they clearly aren't expecting reports of anything but voice calls. I don't have unlimited text messaging so I hope this is an isolated incident.
Just filed a complaint with the FCC...it was rather easy, using an online, one-page form:
"As seen on MTV, try it FREE our award winning European Health Products. Reply Diet back to this message for details."
Should I take the plunge to get their contact info? I have unlimited data, so not worried about that, however, I don't want data miners listing my number as a "live one"....
Received same BS message, "As seen on MTV," etc. I traced it back to Birmingham, MI. then reported it to my cell provider.
Got the same text message spam as the "me" person who commented.
Received this text message:
"As seen on MTV, try it FREE our award winning European Health Products. Reply DIET back to this message for details."
I got a spam text on my cell phone from this number...AND I have to pay for it!
Garbage, delete it and don't even bother looking at it
This is total BS. I got "As seen on MTV, try it FREE our DR. approve European Health Products. Reply Diet back to this message for details." What can we do to stop this from happening?
