Got a call, asked for someone I didnt know, and when I said "i'm sorry..." they repeated, but said it differently. Would not tell me who they were. I called back and got the message "Thank you for calling Bank Tel, a marketing services company". My # is on the Do Not Call list, but they do it anyway...

Alan's comment below was interesting, as I started receiving calls from this number a couple days after I called to have the paperwork sent to pay off my mortgage from Everhome. I was getting calls 2-3 times a day, but never when I was home and no message was ever left.I finally called the number back as I have family and friends in Michigan, and discovered it was an outfit called Banctel. No option to talk to a live person, but did have one to be placed on their internal Do Not Call list, which I never do.I immediately put the number in my reject list, but they continued to call.I asked Everhome if they had anything to do with these people, and they said no. Funny thing is, I continued to get calls until a few days after I paid the mortgage off, when they stopped. You can draw your own conclusion as to the affiliation, I know I have.

this number keeps calling my cell phone and my home phone but does not leave a message. i have no inquired about refinancing my house, so there is no reason they should be calling me.

I'm never home, but if they left me a message, would be easier on me and on them as well.

This caler was an african american woman who said she was calling in reference to my recent request to refinance my home. I asked who she was with and she would only answer by telling me she was caling in reference to my request to refinance my home. I informed her that I did not ask to be notified by anyone and that I was currently on the internet searching for information. She then asked if i was trying to refinance my home. I answesred yes but that I did not ask to be contacted and had not heard of her company. She than just hung up the phone.

This caller called twice this week again indicaticating he was from my mortgage holder and wanted to discuss refinancing my home loan... Checking with my REAL mortgage holder I find that this company is NOT affiliated with my actual lender. I've reported it on several occasions to the National Do-Not-Call Registry but continue to receive these harassing calls!!!

Received call from 248-687-6808 (Accatel): Caller, African American Male, claimed that his company had purchased Everhome Mortgage (our lender) and wanted to discuss refinancing my home... and stated he was going to record our conversation (for what purpose!). I called Everhome Customer Service immediately and they claim they have NOT been sold, nor did they sell my note! I think it's a SCAM!!! Please investigate
