this number (1-239-489-3230)showed up in my husbands cell phone- it showed that my husband had dialed the number.I don't know who or what this is but if it shows up in his cell ph again,I will be notifying the authorities right away.It had me thinking all kinds of shit & damn near got my husband beat up by me because he knows that he is not to call no other number but home from his cell phone & he is not to let anyone use it at his work.
And I think it might be the unknown caller that calls our home several times a day & doesn't say anything when I answer. And I've also got the others abt the vehicle's warranty or insurance being expired- why doesn't someone do something about this crap? I've opted to have them take our number off their list but they continuously call back- this has to stop!

Please be advised that this is used as a land line. The autowarranty is a cover. The calls have a pattern they are not calling from the US. It is someone who works for AT&T.

Im tired of these phone calls. Had several from different phone numbers. I wish there was a way to stop these scamming bastards.

"This is your last chance to renew your automobile warranty" I don't own a car, so this can't be anything other than either a scam or a sales call.

I pressed "1" to speak to an agent and went to hold music. So I put my phone on speaker and hit "Mute" and waited.

After a few seconds, I heard a voice say, "Hello? . . . Hello? . . . Hello? . . ." After about ten times of saying "Hello?" he gave up and hung up.

I think that the next time I get this kind of call, I'll tell them I won't talk to them unless they give me their Social Security Number and their driver's license number....

I just received 2 calls today one from John or Louise Mckelfresh 239-489-3230 and the other from Martha & Chris Munson. They appearantly have the same agenda. No messages left on my cell phone.

The now ubiquitous: "This is the second warning that the factory warranty on your vehicle is about to expire" scam.

Direct Protect Warranty. Their number is 866-646-5957.
Call and complain!

This is ridiculous. Seems to me they should have to pay to call a cell phone numer like they do in Europe. That would make it too expensive for them to make random calls!

Gee, I had better renew that car warranty, huh? I mean, my car is 11 years old (No kidding!) I better hurry up!

Checked "Search by Phone" Tab on www.switchboard.com. They have the following listing(s) for 239-489-3230:
John & Louise McKelfresh, 5 Kocama Ct., Ft. Myers, FL 33912 -- hope this can be of help to anyone who is interested! (P.S. - they called on our cell, and I think they are trying to push auto warranties)

Called back, busy number, but have also received the same type of call at same time of day from 623 and 540 numbers within the past two weeks.

Please let the telephone company have this phone disconnected. It is so annoying and it calls me at least 5-10 times a month and saying "This is the second notice that your vehicle insurance might be expired...."
