Call came through at 11:27 a.m. 9/8/08 and was a recording starting with "don't be alarmed" and speaking about lowering interest rate "on your account"--gave no indication of what account was being referenced. Didn't bother to listen further. Calls with this same recorded message also come from 407-859-4954
called me not to long ago from that number. I got the owner (registered agents name) Ran David Barnea and HIS HOME ADDRESS so please pay him a visit, torch the place, I don't care. Because our Dictator HitlerBush or CorpMerica won't do anything, we have to take the law into our own hands.
I got his Driver Lic Number in the State of Florida if anyones interested.
BTW, I am not posting his unlisted phone number because I will be giving him a taste of his own medicine and post it on youtube.
Came on Caller ID
Didn't leave a message
I just missed a golden opportunity to lower my credit card interest. I guess I am not disappointed since I have no current balance. Note that this is the umteenth time I have missed this chance of a lifetime that always expires the day of the call. I wish these assholes had something to do rather than pester and aggravate people. When will legal action be taken to stop this crap?
Call to Kansas from Ft. Meyers, FL at 10:06am on 9-3-08. Caller Id said "Unknown Name", but this number tracked to Torento Voice Telecom at
www.torontovoicetelecom.com , a telemarketer. They handle several types of telemarketing, but usually identify themselves as "Account Services" trying to get you to go for a lower credit card rate. It's a scam, unload them.
I have received several calls from this number over the past 2 years and really am tired of it!!! Sometimes the line is dead, sometimes there is a recorded message about someone needing to speak to me about my credit card account. I knew it was bogus because I don't use credit cards. I am on the do-not-call list; why is this ongoing?
These people continually call my # and refuse to leave a message on answering machine.
They have called so many times now I refuse to answer when I see it is that number. This
is beginning to get irritating and wastes my time.
YOU MUST FILE A COMPLAINT PERTAINING TO THIS NUMBER 239-437-4835 AT THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!!! https://www.donotcall.gov/ This is the only way to stop these telemarketers! Posting it here, yes you can vent, but nothing will happen!
Call came in a few days ago. Caller i.d. displayed the number and from Fort Myers. No message was left on the answering machine..
Spoke to a representative who said that the name of the company was "Account Services", and that they worked with various credit card companies and can they can get a lower interest rate on credit cards. Willing to work with you if you're currently paying more than 10%. If you ask too many question the representative will hang-up no you.
The biggest annoyance is the automated message left on the answering machine. You can't respond to the message and it eats up space on the answering machine.
I received a call indicating this was my last chance to lower my interest rates. (If it's my last chance, why do they keep calling?) I dialed this number and was greeted by a recording saying it is "not in service at this time." Spoofing caller ID numbers should be punishable with hefty fines. Why are these scammers not thrown in jail?
"Final chance to lower interest rates on your account". Doesn't mention WHICH ACCOUNT?, or business. Says push 1 to continue, 2 to stop the phone calls. Either they will have you pegged when you push a button. Better to just hang up.
(same Dan as previous). Follow-up: I reported this number on the National Do Not Call complaint website (https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx). I encourage others to do the same.
When you answer, you'll hear, "This is your last chance for lower interest rates...Press 1 to speak with a representative now." When you press 1, you'll get a live operator. My first statement to her was "Remove me from your calling list now, I am on the DO NOT CALL list, and you should not be calling me." She hung up immediately, without any acknowledgment.
No wonder telemarketing problems. See advertisement at
DFD Telebroadcasting Inc.
No message left on answering machine.
Automated call: "Do not be alarmed, but this is your third and final notice on your account." (The fourth time I got this exact call). This time I pressed "1" hoping to get information. I asked Marilyn, when she answered, what her company's mailing address and phone number were. Here response: + . I used *69 to get the number.
I am reporting this to the FBI. Not sure what, if anything, the FBI can do about this, but it's worth a try. I also reported them to the national do not call registry.
I contacted the service provider - Embarq Florida (formerly Sprint) - for this bogus operation (Account Services). You can contact Embarq at 1-888-723-8010
and tell them to close down 1-239-437-4835. If enough people do, I'm sure they will get the message.
My mistake. The proper agency to call is the Federal Trade Commission. Their number is 1-877-382-4357
Why not talk to the FCC about these people? If you have a telephone number, they should be able to run it down. What about calling the Fort Myers police department? Instead of complaining about it, do something about it. Everyone who has made comments should individually call the FCC. So instead of getting complaints from one person (tends to be ignored) they get calls from several people (they tend to pay attention).
"Account Services" lower my interest rate scam
Hung up abruptly when I told her I was on the do not call list. When I called back the number was not in service.
The phone rings with this number multipule times a day. HELP!
Starts with a recorded message. When you select the option to talk to a person, to tell them they should not be calling you, the person then says that by pressing a button you accepted the call so they do have a right to call you. What??? Reported to "donotcall.gov" as I'm on the list. Make sure you do the same!
CALLED BACK, and some guy answered, told him he called me, and i was returning the call. he said he had not called.
went into voice mail. hung up. no message.
I did not answer (don't you LOVE caller ID?) and they left no message.
Wanted to lower interest rate on Mastercard, and Visa with over 3,000.00 charged to the account.

Account Service, AGAIN?
Geez, I wish someone would put these people in jail.
Last time they harrassed me, they were spoofing a cell phone number in Florida. I got at least 8 calls in a 2 week period. Since I pay my credit card in full every month, it obviously was a (phishing?) scam.
With all of the spoofing, and apparent scamming they do, why are these people not incarcerated by now?
Please, would everybody report them immediately to the FCC through the do-not-call website.
Last time I reported them, the calls stopped the next day. Apparently, the FCC is doing their job well, just not prosecuting hard enough to make these people realize that it is not worth it.
*Monique* was rude and abrupt when I asked her for her company*s name and phone number. She said she represented a company called Account Services and that they could reduce my credit card rates as their records showed that I was in the arrears of 250,000 dollars and she could keep me from being accountable to further charges and late fees. She hung up abruptly when I continued to ask her for her contact phone number and address... Guess she will have to try to SCAM someone else. CROOKS ARE EVERYWHERE! Be careful out there! --- Jet
I got the message that I should not be alarmed; that it was the last day to lower my interest rates. They did not say who they were, so I hung up. The caller ID listed Ft. Meyers Fl. Hate these calls!
I just received this call, got same thing about lower rate, told them i had over 250,000.00 in credit card debt, gave them a fake credit card number and gave them the 1-800 to the fbi to verify my card, girl came back on phone and said thanks for wasting my time and hung up.
no message. i returned the call, message says no longer in service. BE AWARE of CALLER ID SPOOFING. some collection agencies spoof calls so you have no idea who is really calling, i learned of spoofing when i received calls from someone looking for a relative.
said " Don't be alarmed, but this is the last day to lower interest on your account. Press one to speak to your account manager"
I of course hung up...I missed the press 2 part.
Unknown Name Aug 05th, 2008
Answered and message said "This is your last chance to lower your interest rate on your account" It doesn't say what account. Said to press 1 to speak to someone or 2 to discontinue further calls. Called the number back and it says no longer in service
They let it ring once and left no message. Probably a cheap call center worker with a collections agency who said he can do it.
