As previously stated we signed up with nomorobo.com. They won a huge international competition sponsored by some of the biggest companies and media conglomerates in the world. We researched them and found they were legit. You go online to their website and provide your name, phone number, and provider. They then send you back instructions on how to link up with their service. We did so and it works! You get one ring to be sure they have not blocked someone you want to hear from. All robo calls are then captured after one quick ring and they leave a message that the robo caller has been captured and placed in their server database for elimination. We used to receive 20-30 calls a day. We are now down to 3-5! The best..... It is a free service to all landlines and $5 for cell phones although we have been told they hope to eliminate that cost soon. If you go to their website and look at the companies that sponsored the competition, the list is impressive. We assume the major players are paying the company for their services. We all win! I am not affiliated with them in any way. Just am happy to pass along a method of eliminating those leeches that call us.

Metamorphic Research Group abusive pollsters. After repeated calls, finally answered and found they wanted my daughter who has been out of the house for a decade to answer their poll about Ohio issues. Press 1 if I'm her, 2 if not. (No option for 3 no such person her or 4 go the hell away and leave us alone.) I hit 2 and they tried again twice. On the second try I hit 1, listened to the first survey question and hung up without answering.

This is not political free speech, this is compelled answering. It is abusive. How can anyone trust a poll conducted in this manner??
