Just got this call for the fourth time. Same recorded message as mentioned above (A friend entered you in a contest etc). I do not have caller ID or blocking so I answer my phone. This time - I pressed 1 as instructed to find out who was calling and to see if I can get it stopped. The rep hung up without giving info. Calling the operator from Telus resulted in an add for their blocking service and no information. This harassment has to stop.
JJ - I don't care who you are but please calm down. Life is too short to be an angry, ignorant fuck. Seriously. Canada is warm and beautiful 3/4 of the year. Maybe you are too but it seems winter has hit hard.

JJ, could you please post your cell or home number so I can get a hold of you, I have a family of many children and grand children. As I'm old and I don't have much time left I want to send them all on a vacation together to watch their joy. Unfortunately my phone battery ran out before I could talk to you and book all 17 packages. Thank-you so much.

JJ is a bit....uh...angry American sounding. But then, what's new? As to his claim this is the little guy trying to grow...I have a small business, but I don't inundate people with annoying, intrusive, unasked for phone calls which LIE BLATANTLY (are you reading JJ?? Huh?) about a friend or family member having put our names and numbers in at a "kiosk" at some random, unspecified location. This may not be a scam, but it is certainly not some God given answer to our vacation prayers. It stinks of manipulative sales crap which, unfortunately, a lot of people fall for. They may get a vacation, but is it always what they expected/were told they'd get? I doubt it. I worked for telemarketing at Calabogie time share years ago - none of it was a complete lie, but it also wasn't really what it was pegged to be (ie: your great FREE gifts worth $$$ were largely cheap trinkets). I have an excuse - I was a kid working to go backpacking...and I planned my OWN trip that had nothing to do with Macey's, Bloomingdales, or angry, ineffectual, ranting people called JJ.

JJ - get a life, if you already have one and it involves selling these crappy vacation offers, or should I say - hassling people at their homes with lies, lies, lies...well, get another life cause this one stinks!

Seems we hit a nerve with jj - must be his scam. Sounds like the same person Saraya was talking to. IQ obviously in the same range. Ego so big he has to Google his own phone number? Caller ID is the best investment a person can make. If a phone call is important, they'll leave a message. Otherwise piss off.

It's disgusting. You would'nt believe the nauseating feeling I get in my stomache when someone mentions the word Canada. I think its worse than getting sprayed with tear gas once an hour for eternity. Seriously. And thats pretty fucking bad.

These call center vacations are not SCAMS you fucking hills have eyes mongoloids! They are an attempt to create business to a business and in turn you get a great vacation you broke ignorant fucks. They are just an attempt by the little guy to grow as a company. But according to you beligerant dickwads anything that cost money MUST be a scam right? I guess everything in life worth doing is a fricken scam then! I think when God created man he must have had a bunch of duds left over and thought they'd freeze in Canada. Its the only excuse I can think of. You people are like the result of failed abortions. Canada is a giant STD on the planet earth. I wish there were some fucking pills to get rid of it. You really need to invest in a better education system in Canada. God Damn I think I am going to pop a motherfucking blood vessel.... I have to stop.

Phew. Anyway. Moral of the story; Use common sense.

You guys are all a bunch of schmucks. I hope you all get hypothermia and have to have limbs amputated as a result of that, and horrific frostbite. That way, every time you receive one of these calls you can reminisce about how great it would have been to go on vacation when you still had all your body parts. OH the TORTURE! Hahahah. I hope Canada freezes over and you all go extinct like the dinosaurs. Seriously. Have fun in the blizzards and the fucking below-zero weather.

Imbeciles. All of you. You truly make me sick. The utter stupidity makes my brain want to fucking melt and drip out of my god damned head. I fucking cant even look at Canadian bacon without getting automatic explosive diarreah as a direct result of you people.

I get a call with a recording: "Because you signed up for a prize package with either Zeller's, the Bay, (a number of other retail outlets mentioned I didn't catch) You have won a FABulous vacation! Blah blah blah...only $299 per person up for the first two adults and the 4th and 5th travel free!! You will stay in FABulous Cancun or Orlando Florida!!! "This is Travel Pros".....some dude..."You probably shopped at Coles or Zeller's .....(or something)......Do you hold a valid major credit card and are over 23 years of age?" Yeah, "Is that a yes?" please hold I'll connect you with a representative. "Hi - this is Mark Cordo with Cancun Travel Unlimited....my employee id is 5564....I will explain to you this promotional vacation offer...." I kept this loser on the phone for 30 minutes - really only going to cost me $299 per person for the first two and no hidden costs. So the offer was with Sunset MArketing Group - WOW - do you think I'm stupid Mark? I can't just pay for something over the phone when I dont' even know you and have no idea how you got my number. "well, Mark says - let me ask you this - would you buy a steak inthe grocery store if it was on sale wihtout asking any questions?" You're not offering me a steak Mark. I need to talk to my family and friends. blah blah blah......so then Mark gets upset and says - "You must have been in drama class in school .....you're giving me a hard time......tell you what - go give your husband a hard time - and while you're at it put a steak on the grill cuz that's where you're spending your vacation!" click.

The same message is coming into Canada even though we do not have some of the shops mentioned. It is a scam. Suggest everybody put in complaints to The Better Business Bureau and/or all polic agencies.

Recorded message saying " Walmart, Macys, Bloomingdales, all these stores now have their summer displays up. Recently a friend or family member entered your name in our draw and Congratulations, you have just won $2600 off a 5 day Cancun Vacation....." it went on for some time and then told me to press 1 to get my prize. I have had this message before except then it came from a 888 number. This is a scam! Hang up.
