Called the office today for the first time in about 4 months. I'd also looked them up on the internet that first time and realized they're just scammers. Anyone who wants to sell you toner but doesn't know your make/model is a fraud. I just let their calls go to VM.
Slick operation where the rope you into about printer cartridges with a great sounding girl who passes you off to a high pressure, fast talking salesman with a whole line of semi truth's. I was told they re-engineered to HP cartridges to make them use less ink and be more economical. They use special inks that will last longer and be darker. Their bottom price, selling you 4 cartridges and giving you 2 free, bring the cost down to what Sam's Club sells new cartridges for.
When their shipping department called back the next day to confirm the order, I was told that they were re-manufactured cartridges. I told them to not ship, under no conditions did I want re-manufactured ink jets. i have had terrible luck with them in the past.
Called while I was on another line. Researched their name on the Internet and found where the Government suid them back in 2000 for violations of telemarketing. Not sure if it is the same company or not. Seems to be a long time in business since the lawsuit if they are/were violating the law. Can't verify that it is the same company from the lawsuit in 2000 or not.
Called the number back...Allstate Imaging. Looked on the web...FTC suits against them. Sounds like a boiler room.
The number is for Allstate Imaging. They sell ink and toner supplies.
I missed the call. Returned call and recording said it was Allstate Imaging. No further info.
