I found out that http://www.lucre.net/contacts.php is the phone provider for the number I get similar calls from. I called and they said they'd block future calls to me from that number.
4011 Plainfield Ave. N.E.
Grand Rapids, MI 49525
I also entered this complaint on their website:
I get an automated call weekly from ###-###-#### about reducing my credit card debt per
I called the number back, research/survey company. Went to their website and asked to be removed. http://www.mwrcenter.com/ContactUs/index Mountain West Research
Fremont, Michigan (Lucre, INC.) has been reported elsewhere as a robo-caller-info-phisher, now using "Honda" called-ID as bait.
From "Honda" - if I answer, no one talks, not even a recording.
2312242030 Honda survey at 7:29 pm on wed. 12/19/12 recently got Honda service about 2 weeks ago. Asked questions about how I would rate their service.
I received phone calls from phone number (231)224-2030, no one ever left a v/m. When I call back to it is the Honda Customer Research/Feedback Center. The voice activated system indicates it will attempt 6 times to reach you.
Same as everyone else Honda on the ID, just had my Honda repaired a week ago. Caller asked for me by name and stated "Calling about your honda. Did you bring it in for service?" Reply: "No it was was towed in for repairs". Then dead air, they hung up. My Honda dealer has no idea about the #. So the puzzle continues.
Suffolk Va Aug 28th, 2012
Got the call at 8:30pm. Just had my Honda serviced 2 weeks ago.
The calls have NOTHING to do with a Honda or Honda service. Just BUNCH of political questions...
Los Angeles May 17th, 2012
They called me today and asked bunch of political questions about the state of California. About the prison systems and schools. They knew my first and last names. I gave the survey, hope they'll stop.
recently got my Honda serviced (about 9 days ago)
same as everyone else, my Honda was recently serviced. Kudos to them for identifying themselves on caller ID. Brickbats for persistence
redialed and got "customer research center for a recently serviced Honda". My Honda was serviced approx two weeks ago.
id says honda but just get dead air when i answer
have called two nights in row around 8pm
2312242030 Mar 02nd, 2011
I never owned a honda, and have not ever been to any service center or dealership of honda.
This is just Honda following up on my service received during a recent visit to the service center.
Got a call this evening around 8:20, caller ID said HONDA. It took a while for them to say something after I kept saying Hello, but I held on and eventually someone talked to me. My Honda car was serviced recently and they wanted to ask questions about service from the dealer, which I was happy to provide. No biggie....at least it was legitimate and I figured it was a follow-up call.
missed call, no message left, but I own a Fit that was serviced lat week
No messg. left. Also have a Honda with recent service. Will try the "don't call me" approach to next service.
Had a dozen Toyotas. They never called me.
They've called every evening for the last three nights. When we answer, it's dead air. I'm going to call the dealership tomorrow to complain.
Missed calls two nights in row. Both nights no message left.
just tell your service advisor that you don't want to be called and they can block you, but if you are happy with your service let them call and give them the highest ratings. My cousin used to work at a dealership, and anything less than a perfect score means they failed and won't get their commission...which is most of their salary. I know the calling system may suck, but don't take it out on your rating cause the people who took care of you at the dealership will be the one who suffers.
I called the number back. It's the Honda Customer Research Center. It's just a recording & you can't talk to a live person. Nice.
So I called my local Honda Service Center & gave them the number. I asked to be removed from their calling list, otherwise I'll be getting my car serviced elsewhere. They said they would contact the center & make sure I was off the list within a week.
Here's to hoping!
First we deal with annoying Honda seatbelt beeps, car doors automatically locking on passengers & now annoying phone calls at all hours.
Honda is not doing themselves any favors this year to improve their reputation. LOL
Number: 231-224-2030. Display says Honda. No messages ever left, everytime I answer it, there is no one there. I have even gotten it on the very first ring -- and no one is there. Very frustrating.
231-224-2030 rang me up twice. Both times I was busy. I now know why they were calling,I just purchased a new 09 civic and I've had some real problems with it,lousy gas milage (overall 27 miles to the gallon),the tranny clunks everytime I shift from reverse to drive, the rear view mirror needs to be replaced. From the reviews I've read I'm the only one in the country thats having troubles with there new Civic LXS.Or maybe I'm the only one left that honda hasnt gotten to??? No I'm just kidding..
I got 6 calls over the weekend at my work number.... I guess I shouldn't give the dealership my work number any more. Of course they NEVER call during business hours. Honda tries a little too hard I think. I got a 6 page survey in the mail a year ago regarding work on my Pilot. I filled it out and sent it in and THEN got an even longer one from JD Power. I don't mid helping out, but I think its a little extreme.
Nobody on other end when I answer the phone. Very annoying. If it is Honda they need to get their system fixed.
Comes up as "Honda". I did just have my Odyssey in for service 2 weeks ago.
I actually called them back after being a g whore to find out who it was. They flat out tell you that their calling hours are from 5pm-845pm THIS IS LEGAL And it's for product research, if you feel the need to dodge the calls (Don't Complain in the future if honda is unable to meet the american consumers demands) Also the recording explains they are unable to recieve inbound calls and that they will attempt you 6 times not 10 times like a few over exagerating drama queens on here have claimed. And they will make those attempts for up to 10 days. so if you've missed 3-4 you only have 2-3 more chances to let them know how you feel about your recent interation with HONDA of America. FYI they also state they do not leave messages, so keep whining or chip in, after all we are paying for the service. So why not use it4
Its a call from Honda Customer Services to get feedback on any recent interaction that you may have had with Honda. The people calling are rated on how many feedbacks they get & so they will persist until they get you.....
Didn't answer call, but Honda service survey would make sense as I just had my CR-V serviced.
I own a Honda. 3 calls, 2 did not leave a message. I answered one & got a dial tone. Irritating.
We took our car into the Honda dealership due to the SRS indication. Dealership fixed car, but had my cell phone number to contact me when fix was complete. They were not to give my cell phone number out. Received call at 8 PM 11/6/08.
Don't know. Answered phone twice but there was no answer. Assuming that it was Honda with a survey since I put my car in the shop two weeks ago.
They give up after the fourth attempt.
I got the call from the same number at 9:30 pm today. Got my honda serviced last week at a dealership.
Received several calls, but the caller hangs up as soon as I answer--sometimes even before I can say "hello". Maybe they can't get past my Telezapper? According to some reports, this is apparently someone from Honda calling for customer feedback. This seems plausible, as I recently had my Odyssey serviced.
Called a few times now. funny. i don't even own or have ever owned a honda.
I didn't hear anything until after the second hello and I was already on the disconnect button (I figured it was some lame pre-recorded message so I didn't wait to find out). It is nearly 8pm. Pretty weak of Honda to call so late.
I have twice now received calls from this number. The first call disconnected after two rings. The second I could hear background noise, but no one replied before hanging up. This second call came in at 9:03 ET-- which is illegal, calls have to end by 9pm. After seeing this site (I had my Honda serviced last week), I called the number, and did receive a recording that it is the Honda customer research center, and they explain how often they will try to call (up to 6 attempts over ten days, m-f 5pm-8:45pm and some weekend hours as well) and that they don't leave messages. I'm thinking they need to revamp their policy.
I've received 2 calls, back to back evenings. I answered both times, but no one was there. I did have my Honda serviced 1 1/2 weeks ago...looks like it must be them. It would be nice if someone was there to get it over with.
good to know it might be Honda, as i just got a hangup from this number but recently had my newish honda serviced.
No one there - this is 3rd time they have tried calling.
Annoying calls - no one on line... Very F@cking annoying. I will vote for whoever pushes legislation through to stop these $%$&^%*$%#$%#$%!!! annoying phone calls. Those who oppose - I know who you are.
Called several times in a row. Never talked to them. They leave no message. I don't own a Honda
unknown. called at 8:52 pm et, no message.
call 2-3 a day and never answer when you say hi
Honda makes sense since we just had our Honda serviced
no message. called twice around 6:30pm EST
Called twice a day for the past three days. Never leaves a message, quite annoying.
3 Calls in the last 3 days. No message.
Honda survey regarding service at dealership.
Called out my name, did not leave message. But given people's comments above and that I've had my Honda service last week, I'll assume it's a survey request.
Female began leaving message from "Honda unintelligible..." before realizing it was my machine and hanging up. Tried calling number- hangs-up. I had my Honda van in for service last week and they are calling my cell # that I gave to the service dept. This is no way to treat customers.
I answered and said "hello" twice, but no one spoke. Computer dialing gone astray, I suppose.
Caller ID came up as 'Michigan'. If I try to call it back it just comes back with a fast beeping busy signal. Makes sense that it would be Honda for me too. I have a CIVIC I recently had serviced
They said it' s a survey.
Service was horrible...and they really don't care. Well they told me I needed something done to my car...went and got a 2nd opinion and they said I needed something changed that was going to cost me $50 and honda was going to charge me $3,700 to replace my entire transmission...go figure
Called me twice so far, and both times I answered and heard no response from the callers end. I called the number and an autimated message from Honda answered to say they are sorry they missed me, but will call me back.
didn't answer cell phone, but just had my honda hybrid in for the recall service two weeks ago, apparently they've given out my cell phone number to these survey people!
Just got my first call. I was not home. The call went to voice mail and it was several seconds before someone spoke. They responded to my away message like I had really answered. It was breaking up. Recently had service on my Honda and my local dealership already made a follow up courtesy call.
they've called twice on different days. No message left. Just had my car serviced and didnt give em an excellent rating.
This number has been calling and not leaving a message for the past few weeks. I called it back and a recording said all lines were busy. It didn't say anything about Honda though.
Someone from this number has called several times, they left no message. The last time they called I answered, they asked for my daughter by name. I gave them her number as she does drive a Honda, and Honda was in the caller ID.
I have called Honda Customer service, and was told it was probably their survey company which is called I Sky. I looked it up online they have changed their name to TRG Sky. I am going to try contacting them to see what is going on.
3/10/07 10:39am, no message left
number only - I drive a Civic that was serviced last week
Have gotten this call several times over the last few weeks. Have not picked up. I own a honda as well, so the previous comments must be correct in their assumptions.
2 calls in 2 days different times no message!
I just got my Honda serviced so I guess it makes sense... but when I answered I just heard two beeps, nobody seemed to be on the line...
Also, WHY would they do this at 7 pm?
They don't leave a message
I also just got my oil changed and started receiving calls from this number. They called 2/23, 2/27, 3/1 -- I guess it's every four days till they catch you. I have not answered.
number only - I drive a Civic that was serviced last week
Weird. It said Honda, and we own a Civic, but I would NEVER give them my phone number. I couldn't get to the phone in time and they didn't leave a message.
nice too know who just called me! its true just had my honda CRV in last week for service.
Great I am glad to know who has called the past 2 nights and not left a message!
Got this same call twice in the last two weeks. I picked up both times, and there was no sound on the other end. I own a Honda, and maybe this is less annoying than a survey. But it feels more like surveillance than survey!
They called 3 times this week. I don't have a Honda, never had one, and don't plan on having one. Have no idea why they're calling me.
It is Honda. I picked up and talked to them and explained that I didn't have time to talk. They have called four times now, including 830 at night. I got this call after already letting the dealership know everything was fine. Oh Well.
Just found this site, in response to reverse phone lookup. I have 4 Hondas, and two were in for service. One is an Accord Hybrid, and the other a 1998 CRV.
Probably was Honda, they left no message,
Didn't answer it but I did purchase a Honda Hybrid last year and had it serviced a couple of weeks ago.
So-called Honda or something calls twice a week. Calls back never get through.
they woke me up and I had a hangover- bastards! Just got my honda serviced too...
Caller ID came up as 'Michigan'. If I try to call it back it just comes back with a fast beeping busy signal. Makes sense that it would be Honda for me too. I have a CRV I recently had serviced
Just called. I answered, heard a quick keypad tone. I said hello twice, but no one was there, so I hung up. If this a Honda survey, that would make sense... I own an Accord and recently had it serviced.
SO IT'S A FRICKEN HONDA SURVEY I HAVE 2 CALLS FROM THEM
Call, answered, but no one there. Tried to call back, but just hangs up.
Honda. 3 calls every evening this past week, 3 calls today (Saturday). They don't leave a message and they apparently don't give up.
5 calls in the last 3 days nights and weekends. No message.
Honda Service Survey. As someone else said, they don't leave a message but they do call incessantly. I've received about 10 calls in the past 5 days...4 calls this past Saturday
Honda customer service for service feedback. Called twice this week, they don't leave a message.
