Don't answer the phone they will give up calling. First time I answered it, they were some Auto company. now and then they keep calling from another phone number which is: 847-488-3003. I answered and they hung up.

This phone number belongs to Chase Card Services.

this number calls 6-8 times per day, but NEVER leaves a message. If it is Chase, I dont even carry a balance with them, so why are they calling starting at 8am?
 Feb 24th, 2010
Jan 4th 8 calls from them, Jan 5th 7 calls from them and today Jan 6 I have already had two calls within the last 1/2 hr and I just got out of bed. I have an acct with Chase and have tried to get some payment help for 6 months but they refuse me and I am the only income. They won't even work with me and I only asked for 6 months. But they sure love to harass. I am definitely cancelling this card once pd off.

I received my first call at 8:04am, Second call at 8:35am, and my thrid call at 9:12am. it's currently 9:18am, so I will be anxious to see how many more of these stupid calls I will get today. Better believe I will be complaining about this. It's just ridiculous! My account is even paid us to date, so I'm really not even sure why they are bothering me! Stupid People

They took over WAMU and closed out my accounts so i turned them over to my debit advacate with the rest of my credit cards and they are getting paid. Iam tired of them calling me 20 calls in one day

I've contacted Chase Executive Customer Service @ 800-242-7399 and spoke with a nice lady who took down these rouge call center numbers, i told her my situation (21 calls since 9/7 and dozen more from the 302 number too) and she is looking into it.

ALSO I filed an official FTC consumer complaint (#24007158) letting them know that Chase is harassing me morning/day/night and I don't even have a Chase account or credit cards nor business of any kind ever with them. If this was a person I'd get the local police on them too but unfortunately it's a rouge collections dept within a huge bank.

If you are being harassed/abused by this rouge call center let Chase know at the above 800 number. Don't bother talking to anyone at the rouge call center itself, they will just flat out lie to you and say they'll remove your number. You'll then keep getting their calls starting at 8am. Like me. It sucks and I have to keep my expensive service Blackberry on silent mode now.

The FTC complaint form is easy to fill out @

I'm posting this message on as many related internet websites as possible, I hope it helps someone.

Every morning at 8:30 they call and wake up the whole house. My husband & I are both unemployed at the moment and have spoken to them twice about our situation, but no matter what we say to them, they just continue to harass us up to 6 times per day. They also got my cell phone # and call that all day, luckily I was able to have my cell phone disconnected so I don't have to deal with that anymore. Also they hang up on our answering machine and it is clogged with their hangup calls we have to wade through to get to our "real" messages. PSYHCO STALKERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Called yesterday @ approx. 1:15pm and again @ 3:20 (approx)pm. Have called again today, a Saterday, so far four times begining @ 8:00am. It is now only 10:52am; if they follow their usual pattern I expect they'll call many more times over the weekend, a clear violation of the laws protecting consumers, They should be stopped.

Had error on account. Instead of them correcting it, they just phone me seven days a week anytime from 8a.m. through 9:00p.m.
This is very annoying. I have an answering machine but they never leave a message.
I usually get 6-8 calls daily.

This number is consistently followed up by 224-222-8004, which is a proven JP Morgan Chase Indian call center. They have been hounding me to make extra payments and to take the insurance policy. These calls are harassment yet we consumers have absolutely no recourse from these predatory practices. They should all be sued.

This call is from Chase Card Services. I have a card with them through These people call constantly. If they don't get results calling from one number, they switch to another. 224-222-8004) All of the calls have people with Indian (India) accents an are nearly impossible to understand. I won't talk to them. I e-mailed Chase telling them I will only deal with someone who speaks American English, but they ignored it.

Based on the comments left already, I think HSBC is handling a bunch of Chase credit cards offered through retailers. Best Buy, Amazon, and with me Office Depot. Their system seems to be set up to have a computer call your number at various times of the day and will never leave a message. I'm sure you are ported through to a live person if you actually pick up. In my particular case, I applied for a Office Depot card to take advantage of a percentage off my inital purchase there, a desk and a computer monitor. Well, instead of both purchases registering for the special as they said it would be, one was not so I am showing up delinquent in paying (special also offered deffered payments until 2009). I keep telling them that they are in error and they keep telling me that they will update their records, but the calls keep coming.

call 6-7 times a day and do not leave a message, just say hello, hello, hello,. They are calling for someone who does not live in my home and have been told this, but obviously they do not care. We have tried to call back but that number does not take calls. It's especially annoying when it has nothing to do with me!

They started calling a few weeks ago. We never pick up if we don't know the #. Yesterday, on SUNDAY, we received at least 15 calls from them. How do I stop this?
 May 19th, 2008
Began calling at around 5am on Saturday morning. I don't answer calls if I don't recognise the number, but after around the 5th or 6th call, I finally picked up. You guessed it; the caller hung up! Still receiving calls; still no voicemail left.

These folks called before 9 am this morning and have called twice since. My stepson does have a Chase account and is late on his payment.

these people are nuts. why do they insist on calling 24/7 at such early hours of the day? do they not know that people will pay them, eventually. it is driving me insane. they want all your account info (which i would not give over the phone), and then try to make plans with you to pay a certain amount. i bet their scamming people out of money.

HSBC...called several times in the morning and then in the afternoon was well as my cell phone!
 Dec 06th, 2007
Hmmm, everybody says that it's an HSBC Best Buy account, but I don't have one of those. The only thing that I'm late on paying is my Chase Amazon Card.
 Nov 22nd, 2007
HSBC manages / operates the Best Buy credit card. If you miss a payment / late on a payment, then they will call you 2-3 times per day every day until your payment is processed. I missed one payment by 5 days and the calls started, and they continued for a WEEK after the payment was made because their systems hadn't been synchronized. Calls originate from a call center in El Paso TX for HSBC.
 Oct 17th, 2007
Received a call at 6:35AM local time from this number. It was HSBC which manages the Best Buy credit card. They called to offer us a payment protection plan on our card. When I told the caller that it was only 6:35AM my time, the caller immediately hung up realizing that he or she had violated federal law.
