They called, I called back, and asked them who they were - they claimed to be Card Member Services - I told them I don't have any cards with them, I'm not interested, that I'm on the Do Not Call Registry to which he replied, "It doesn't matter" I told him that it matters to me, and to not call me - I started to ask if they had my phone number to make sure it is a number that is not called, and he hung up on me. When I tried to call back within 30 seconds, I got a message that said 'this is not a working number' I think this is an illegal scam.
OK, I admit I was messing with them (they are credit card interest rate reduction blind calling outfit), but the guy cussed me out and made some horrific gay slurs (and I'm pretty sure there IS something wrong with that). Then he said he was going to flag all of my accounts. Considering he called on a business line, this is obviously an empty threat, but...isn't this illegal? If not, should be.

Just another of the bogus credit card services scam/phishing calls made from a fake or spoofed number
These people are criminals who contribute heavily to the reelection campaigns of YOUR Senators and Representatives. They will never be prosecuted because to shut them down will diminish the bribe money. Remember this on November 6, 2012.
I don't know who this person is, but I'm trying to call back and ask them how they received my #, and who they are, so far no answer...They called me while I was at work, but I didn't hear it ring.
not sure who it was but based on previous comment, perhaps Jo's "Erin" is the same one that I get email for in my junk mail box... always about "Card Services" in the subject line...
Robo call but I waited for the live person to come on. I asked who she was & she said "Erin" & I asked what credit card, she said "Card Services". I tried to get more info & couldn't understand what she was saying unitl she said "ignorant B----!" & hung up on me
