I have received several calls for "Card Services" saying that this is your last call we have sent you several notices! The recording says that they will lower my credit card interest rates. I have asked them not to call several times and other times after I push "1" they immediately hang up on me today I talked to a young man who when I asked him for an address said that they are at 1713 Huddle Rd, Palmdale, FL The caller ID came up with 216-501-2998 Ohio!!!
Ooohhh, they will NOT remove you from their calling list. Been there, done that, and filed reports with the FCC because of their refusal to comply. They call from a variety of wireless numbers and have used at least 10 with me. Just got my 3rd call of the day, during dinner - what a treat!
Please don't try calling the number 216-501-2998. I just did, and It belongs to a nice person who is being victimized twice.
First, the "Account Services" crooks are "spoofing" Caller ID to make it look like the call is coming from his cellphone. Second, over the past few days, he has been getting dozens of calls from people who are upset with "Account Services". He was very polite and assured me that he is not a telemarketer. His voice sounded nothing like the "Mark" person who answers when you press 1.
Some scammer warning me I'd not responded to "many written messages" about some credit card & this was my last chance to talk to them about some lower rate of interest. Don't think so, Mack. I've had this annoying scam call from a variety of numbers over the last year or more. Apparently enough people fall for it to pay their efforts.
Good story, Alicia. "Heather" and "Rachel" will be ticked with "Becca" for failing so miserably against a few questions. They know very well your "FDIC regulated" bank may fight your dispute because the whole point of this ruse is to _obtain_ your authority.

I received a call this morning & spoke to "Becca." She said she could lower my APR on my credit cards, saying that she worked for Credit Services America for Mastercard & Visa. I acted interested, as I do have a few cards with a higher interest rate. She stated that they work with the banks to lower our interest rate, that they needed me to verify my account information in order to process the card information, then transfer me to the rate specialist to finalize the deal. So she asked me to verify the 16 digit CC number and my expiration date. *FLAG!* I am 30 years old lady, not 80. do you really think I'm going to "verify" my credit card number with you?! So she said, "well, your credit card is FDIC regulated & if there are any unauthorized purchases, you can always contact the bank. but in order for anyone to charge your credit card, they would need the 3 digit code on the back of the card, I do not need that." I simply told her that if she already had the information, she could verify it with me. She said they didn't allow her to do that. So i asked her for their website so that I might verify that they were legitimate. She gave me THREE websites, none of them were really valid. I asked her if they normally switched websites, and she said that they had a few. OK, sure, that sounds good....So I asked her if she would transfer me to her "rate specialist" so that I might verify a few things with him about the company. THAT's when I was hung up on. I can't believe these people think that everyone is dumb enough to GIVE them the information that they ask for?! BEWARE people! They think it's easier to scam other people's money than to make their own. And if you GIVE them your credit card number, well you'll be duped.
It was a recording claiming to lower my credit card interest if I had over $3000 in debt. Totally unsolicited call. Probably a scam.
SAME CALLER FROM 520-907-1562
The message stated I could lower my credit card interest if I had over $3000.00 in credit card debt. I pushed 1 and ask Jesill (same person from yesterday)to stop calling us.
