"this is a call from your credit card company... last opportunity to lower interest rates on your existing credit card accounts"
Be sure to always file a complaint with the Do Not Call (DNC) registry. The Feds and State AGs won't do anything until a violator racks up enough complaints in the system. And yes, they do go after and shut down the worst of these a-holes (but only if people file complaints)
SCAM ALERT: Computer call designed to sound like it's from your credit card issuer: "this is a call from your credit card company... last opportunity to lower interest rates on your existing credit card accounts". Get the live rep and it becomes clear they have no affiliation with your credit card issuing bank - "we are omni card services and we work directly with both VISA and Mastercard". It's a scam to give them your credit card account info (if you a dumb enough to do it, they'll charge your account to the max). When asked why they are violating the DNC list and sending out illegal robo-calls, the dumb-ass rep says, "that's not important".
Play along with these a-holes (but don't give them any real account info), run up their phone charges, then blast them with the air horn.
they keep calling at least 2 times a day oe so..im on the dnc list but i dont think that makes any diffrence anymore
offer to lower interst rates... press 1.. then ring forever on the DNC also
I'm on the dnc register too. this number calls my cell phone. I didn't recognize # so didn't answer. They leave no message.
on the dnc register but obviously meaningless
