Caller said my name, I said "Yes" and they then hung up
this person called my job asked for me as soon as i said yes i he hung up even before i had a chance to say how can i help you ???? this seems to be a popular # with different names of who they are with this gentlemen was iraian or pakisitanish born. its un nerving to think that people call you at your job let alone call you by your name then hang up in your face. and all you see is private when you try to call this # back it is busy .
got a call from them following up on a cancellation and was told that I now owed them close to $700 for an online ad that i was not told i was to own ANY MONEY
I don't think this number is from Vitelity, LLC. That's the name of an Internet telephony service that is resold by some VOIP (voice over Internet protocol) companies. Some of these companies (sometimes for a fee) allow you to set the caller ID name associated with the account, others may not. If the customer with the subject phone number hasn't had the caller ID name changed, it will say, "Vitelity LLC" by default. Also, VOIP is limited to sending a name to another VOIP phone, at least in the United States. If you are using a VOIP phone to receive calls, your phone company is looking up the caller's name in a privately-maintained database of some kind - if you paid extra for this service. The VOIP company has to make sure that the caller's name gets into all of these databases (if the VOIP company does that at all, AND the caller has made a request to have it done), and it may take days or weeks for these databases to change. (I don't work for Vitelity LLC, but I am a customer of a VOIP company that uses their lines. I know all of this because I have had reports of some people refusing to take calls from my home phone because the caller ID name comes up "Vitelity LLC" instead of my actual name, and I asked what it would take to correct this situation.)
I received 2 missed calls from this number. I googled it as I did not recognize it. Apparently these people have made hundreds of calls claiming to be different banks nationwide. The basis of their claim is fraudulent use of your debit card. They ask for personal info such as SSN, and entire debit card numbers. This is a phishing scam! Be careful everyone!
this telephone number rings at midnight and early moring. and above number shows on caller ID. when I pick up phone nobody is answers.nasty people out there like valtures looking for something.
I googled 214-377-5991 and found fraudulent activity going back several years. A reverse lookup gave the company as Vitelity LLC (work) Dallas TX.
The caller said h was from dishnetwork promotions department. Wanted lots of personal information. The guy seemed fraudulent
I get calls from this number every week, person with heavy Hindi accent, asking about what our business sells, do we have this or that line of merchandise. Twice they tried to tell me that they are a 'website promotions company' and they will promote my business website for free. If I ignore the call when I see it on caller ID, they call right back. So now I just answer with "Go away you f***ing scam artist" and hang up. It hasn't ended the calls, but now they don't call every single day.

Caller ID showed "Vitelity, LLC"
"Solomon" (heavy Indian/Pakistani accent) said he was calling from "AG Street Gold" to offer me a "free gold package."
Obvious scam, told him to get bent and hung up.
I received the same call last night 11/23 on my cell last night stating that my Visa card had been deactivated and to please hold for further instructions. I hung up. This morning called to make sure my Visa card was still in check and it was still activated. Tried calling the 214-377-5991 from my work phone and a child answered. I believe it to be a scam of the parents.
I received 5 calls at my office number however each time the call came in, I was either on the phone or away from my desk. I recently encountered my checking account information (routing number and account number) as checks were coming through for stores I had not been to nor did I write a check there. I had my checking account shutdown and now I am receiving these phone calls at my office so I decided to google the phone number since I didn't recognize the number. I am so glad I did because I had no idea that this number is a phishing scam number trying to steal my information! I hope they catch these criminals!!!
Got the same deal, that our Credit Union had suspended our debit card due to suspicious activity and to press 1 to transfer to the Security Department. It's a scam, trying to get people to reveal their bank card information. Report it to the BBB and FTC like Jack did.
I recieved this call on my caller ID number says 214-377-5991 with BLOCKED NAME. No message left but the call was at 8:05 AM. Wierd!!!
1:37 am 4-24 - Received call from 214 377 5991 caller id says Vitelity LLC - recorded message over and over again that City Credit Union is calling and have suspended my card ( I dont have a City credit union card ) The message repeated over and over about 10 - 12 times and then it crashed into some weird software program asking me to press all these numbers and passwords etc to get something called "asterisk" running again.... I just listened to it and all the while my phone was recording it - I now have forwarded it to the FTC and BBB and the attorney general of my state. So we will se what happens. I suggest you do the same. Vitelity may not be at fault and then again they might be. Scammers for sure was the reason for this all.
