We received the same call in Minnesota from a female asking if we take UHC and how soon we have an opening, and inquiring about our hours. When I told her she said ok I was just double checking and hung up. Very strange. It is some Company called Compass Professional Health Services www.compassphs.com
Hang up after one ring. Probably a machine dialer? Not the first time this number showed up on caller id.
Female called saying she was a patient advocate and that her client needed to be seen today. She asked how many people are employed at our office. When I told her that we have several therapists but only one was working today, she asked what the name was. She wouldn't give me any details about the injury needing treatment or what type of insurance her client had. I told her that I didn't have any openings today or tomorrow and referred her to another clinic. This sounds fishy to me. Valid patient's always tell you the injury when asked.
Woman called our office claiming to be a patient ( we are in Minnesota, number is coming in from Texas). Asked questions about our hours and staff; we have had the same hours/staffing for many years and actual patients would not need this information. Identity and reason for calling seem false-
