not sure what the call register for aborad calls means but they are calls coming from a different country than the one that you are in.. not sure that you can block incoming international calls and not too sure why you would want to bother
Caller ID showed 'out of area.' I picked up after one ring and no-one was there.
I finally answered it as I was so sick of being called. They asked me to go home to home in July collecting $$. I said OK to get them off the line. Have no intention of doing it. Now today they are calling again!! ARGH!!
I answered the call, no one there, then as I hung up recording started "Sorry we missed you..."
caller hung up when I answered
Caller ID picked up number. No message left. Once these numbers start calling, they do it every day.
Obvious symptoms of a poor auto dial system. Dead space at the other end. Caller ID simply said "out-of-area call.
Do not call and have empty space on the other end If it is March of Dimes shame on you
How was identity associated with March of Dimes? Only ID shown on my caller ID was "California".
I followed Brett's advice and it worked. Said they'd remove my number within 30 days. Still cost me a long distance call, though.
If they don't leave a message I place them on my REJECT LIST.
No one answers the phone. I do not want to be called. If this this March of Dimes, I will stop supporting this organization.
This number keeps dailing me daily, As early as 4AM
Most times its 8:30 AM
I called my Local Chapter
There stumped, and said they would look into it.
You can look up your local chapter on March of Dimes Main web page. Good Luck

Has showed up on my caller ID a few times. Never left a message. Called me before 9 AM this morning, on the East Coast.
Call about 3 times daily for the past 2 months. Never leave a message and I'm getting annoyed. I can't call them to tell them to stop as I don't hear. Guess I'll have to have my child tell them to stop calling.
I called March of Dimes to have my number removed from their list (following Bretts' suggestion) but their system can not recognize the telephone number I entered.I tried it three times with no luck.
Started getting calls from this number yesterday, 4/09/07. They call about two times a day and does not leave any message.
March of Dimes, a non-profit exempt from the Do-Not-Call list. If you want to be removed from their calling list, do the following:
--Press 1 to get more information
--Press 3 to remove your number from the list
--Enter the 10-digit phone number, including area code
--Press 1 to confirm the number after it is read to you
That's it. They say it will be removed within 30 days. Given the time lag, I assume they don't have an automated method for doing this, or perhaps they outsource to other groups and have multiple databases to clear, since automated software can be scheduled to do it much more frequently than 30 days, assuming they aren't getting thousands of requests a day.
They are calling every other day or so and when I answer, they hang up.
We answered, they hung up. Happens frequently with this number.
They called twice this weekend. I picked up the phone both times and said hello. There was no reply and I hung up. I called the number back and got a recording from March of Dimes.
Called asked my wife for me, then hung up.
These idiots call me at least once or twice per day and have been for months. Is there a number or agency where I can log a complaint?
Just hung up - didn't leave a message
caller id showed unknown name - i did not pick up
