The caller says "Our records show that your vehicle warranty has expired, is that correct?" I said, really? Which one? Then they did some sort of switch where all of the sudden I got a canned recording, "I'm sorry, but all our agents are busy at this time." I called back but it just kept ringing. Frustrating.

It is a company that identifies themselves as The Vehicle Warranty Center . . . a fraudulent telemarketing company. I reported them to the FTC. As everyone should (National Do Not Call Registry) when the FTC tracks them down they will be fined $11,000 per each call that is reported and will possibly do jail time if it is severe enough.

And they will get fined for the Fraudulent caller ID too!

So report them . . .

Auto warranty for a car I do not own, where do they get this info from? Sounds like another scam to gain information about you.
