Just received a phone call from this number for Life Alert. This time it was a woman's voice. We used to get several of these calls a day, but they finally stopped.

Calling me 3 times a week for med alert delivery. They hang up when you tell them to remove your number. They need to be arrested. They are scamming the elderly.

I just got a call from this number. The caller ID listed it as CTY, much as others have reported with other numbers. This is the "Life Alert System" scam from a new number. Unlike what others reporting this scam have said, when I immediately called them out as a scam, the caller hung up before I could say to not call again. I think this time, it was a live person instead of a recording.

In addition to reporting the number here, I am also filing a complaint with the FTC for phone abuse for this number.

Called me 2 times within 15 minutes. Scam!!! The first message is a recording as if they are your best friend. Press 1 and they want all this personal info for the "free" system. I love pulling their chain. Give them bogus card # and local police station address.

This is a really peculiar call. My grandmother gets one from a man, and we just started receiving one from a woman (pretty much the same info in both messages). That's not the peculiar thing, though. I stayed on the line hoping to be prompted with options to speak to a customer service representative so that I could break their balls and have a little fun. But when I "press '1'", the call just ends!

Moreover, if they really wanted to hook people with this scam, the recording (which to their credit sounds SO REAL) wouldn't be so long in duration. This makes me suspect that maybe they're making money just keeping a person on the line.

Scam for medical alert system + grocery money. Message is read to sound like a real "conversation" but is obviously a recording. Disgusting way to prey on elderly!
