I've been reading over all of the comments posted, and I just had to share my story because MY experience has not been like ANY of these! I did receive a call saying the my Car Warranty was about to expire. I wasn't sure if it was so I took a number and told the Agent I would call them back.

I called my Dealer to see if my Manufacturer's Warranty was still in effect, and it was not. So, I called Safe Ride Warranty the next day to see what kind of policy I could purchase. Since my car is a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am, I could no longer purchase a Bumper2Bumper warranty....I had to buy the Powertrain Warranty. The policy and the prices sounded good so I bought it.

I've had the policy for about 8 months now, and I've had to use it once. About three weeks ago, my car stared slipping...like it was missing the shift in the gears. I was able to drive it to the dealership, and got a diagnostic done. My world was almost turned UPSIDE DOWN when Pontiac told me the bill was $2736...almost $3000! The 2nd and 3rd gears were stripped...

I called Safe Ride Warranty immediately and explained what was happening. They directed me to the Claims department where I was able to file my claim. In three days, my car was fixed and my bill was paid---IN FULL! I didn't have $3000 to pay for my transmission, so I can only imagine what trouble I would have been in had i not been covered.

The customer service is friendly and helpful whenever I call with a question. I don't have any complaints..I just wanted to let everybody know about my PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

There are about 6 phone numbers these people are calling from. 213-710-8113, 202-495-7142, 205-561-2815, 760-526-8172, 202-527-6024, 502-565-1340. My suggestion. Put them on the National DO NOT CALL list 888-382-1222). See how that works. Then you can place a complaint if they continue to call. I'm going to try it myself.

They are now using spoof caller ID numbers. Received three calls in two days from General Warranty Services.

new caller ID numbers are: 310-599-5763 and 802-372-4395. They will obviously change their caller ID number daily.

There are others, but my phone only holds 20 numbers.
I have had the same nonsence going on every day for the past four months; e.g., at least one call daily with two being the norm. I found several good phone numbers for this outfit when one of the operators slipped and gve me the name of the company and a phone number.

They are as follows:
781-569-1100 - Woburn Mass
which after doing a reverse look-up is actually Norwood, MA

The main office number is 978-685-6150.
this phone number belogs to the following location:

General Warranty Services
282 Main Street
Salem, NH
Phone#: 978-685-6150

Web address: www.generalwarrantyservices.com/

As others have said when speaking to an agent of this "company," they tell you that they cannot give the person being called a company address and do not want to give a phone number either. If it is a legitimate company, they would willingly give all information that the person receiving the call asks for. The people that I've talked to were obnoxious from the start of the conversation. If anyone falls for this scam... Well I'd better not say what I'm thinking.

I told them not to call our phone number at least five times, but they keep calling in spite of my request. Unfortunately these scams are flourishing in the United States. The general public has to be very careful about buying anything, or giving out any personal information. If one is not careful, one could loose more than their shirt.

Good Luck,

heres the address as to where they are calling from i live in salem and posted my resume on a site and they contacted me as to a job offer so i looked up their company what scam artists but hope this info helps some people here is their direct number and address
This company is spoofing our phone number and angry people call us all the time thinking WE are calling them with this b.s. We called the FTC and filed a complaint, everyone who reads this and has been effected by this company should do the same.

It doesn't take long, if more people call and report them then maybe something can be done about it.
Easy way to avoid paying for the incoming call. Just do not answer any calls not in your contacts list. Ignore them; Then come to this website and see what posts are here. Without exception, so far, every number not in my contact list has numerous post on this website. I know, what if the call is really important or someone you know? Guess what? It will keep and they will wait until you return their call. I have a pay-as-you-go from AT&T and since I adopted this strategy my monthly cell phone cost is less than $30.00. And If you happen to have one of those phones that answers when you flip open the lid, ...ditch it and get a differant one.

What can we do to stop these people from calling our cell phones?
THe message always says "this is the final call ...".
I have politely asked the person who picked up the phone to stop calling my cell phone many times but they just kept calling and sometimes hung up on me. It is very annoying.

I have received 3 different numbers for the company claiming to be Vehicle Warranty Options and on the same call Warranty America. They immediately hang up when I ask them questions and as most people have found out- asking to be removed from their calling list is pointless. These calls have been occuring for months now and I'm desperately trying to find a way to stop them.

These scamming clowns are driving me nutty. If I had the power to reach into my phone and strangle people on the other end, I'd do it to each and every one of these auto-warranty B.S.ing clowns. Someone's gotta sue these clowns so we can get our privacy back.

This company calls my work number several times a week. I have tried talking to someone to ask to be removed and each time I receive a prompt hang up in my ear. This is so frustrating.

The Company Jinnet calls about 15 times a day or more and everytime I get connected with one of them they hang up when I request to be taken off their list. How do I get rid of them.
 Jul 16th, 2008
I have gotten several calls from this place. I have talked to a person twice and got hung up on both times. I was told by the second person that I would be taken off their call list and I am still getting calls. They are calling my cell phone! Since when can these places call cell phones?

auto warranty, 2nd one today. I have been getting this scam calls for months from more than a dozen numbers, not counting blocked calls. Jerks.

I did recently change vehicles so was concerned that the dealership messed up yet more paperwork. When a rep came on the line, I was asked to identify the year, make, and model of the vehicle and I told them I had the same question for them. They immediately hung up. When I tried to dial the number back, I got a recording that they only purchase and call business listing. I really need this while I'm at work...

This is the second number today from which I received telemarketer calls pertaining to vehicle warranties. (The other number today was from MASS WARRANTY 508-534-1282.) I have received many calls from varies numbers and CID names pertaining to vehicle warranties. I have dealt with them all in various ways over the past couple of months... from hanging up on them, censoring my calls w/ my answer machine or caller ID, or opting to speak to their representative and either being hung up on after I refused to give my vehicle information or ignored when I requested I be removed from their call list. Does anyone know if these various numbers/caller ID names are all from the same company? What else can we do to stop them, this is getting ridiculous!!!! Thank you!
