I called my cell phone from my land line via onesuite and this is the # that showed up.
Addendum: AND, it was 11:01 pm! Something VERY fishy!
When I answered they had just hung up. Couldn't call them back - got either a busy signal or a disconnect
I've been getting a lot of calls from this # but don't pick it up because I didn't recognize the outfit. If it is a "call-through" service & it is just a friend using onesuite.com, one would assume they can leave messages, but whoever is using it to call me does not. I would be very wary of people calling through vertex who don't leave messages - the opportunity for others to use this as a 'cloak' to get around Don Not Call regs is too great. So if you're a friend using onesuite to contact me, leave a message or else it was nice knowing ya, because I'm absolutely not going to answer cold calls with this on my ID screen.
This number / calling card company is being used by people fishing for personal information to commit identity theft. Do not believe anyone you do not know using this number. They are using it so they can remain untraceabble
They called my house last night at 11:10 pm. Everyone was asleep. I do not appreciate that and that the number calling is masked.
Whoever called hung up when I answered. Off to the do not call website...
Called at 8:30 am on a Saturday -- they called my work cell phone -- pain in the rear -- left no message -- this number has called my phone on Saturday for the last several weeks -- figure it's someone trying to sell me something
They called me today (3/6/08) stating to my fiance that he saw my picture on craigslist and wanted to speak to me. Strange enough, I had just posted items for sale on craigslist for the first time about a week ago, and did not leave my email address to the public, NOR my phone number...............
Hope there's no hackers on there........ Anyways, after my fiance asked what item he was interested in, the guy said.... "um... but it's a girl selling this stuff right??" and my fiance said, "yes, and she's on the other line so I can give her your number". When he told me this and clicked back to him, he had hung up. I've been trying to call this number back, nothing but a busy signal.... Perverts.............
Ten calls in quick succession (with hang ups) and then the call from Vertex. An obvious setup for a scam.
It's a dial-thru service: http://www.onesuite.com You call an 800 number (or a local number if you have one in your area), enter your pin number and then the number you're calling. The call can originate from anywhere. Apparently the dial-thru equipment is in LA -- that's why the caller ID shows a 213 number. If you get a call at 4 am -- somebody probably dialed a wrong number. Onesuite is a legitimate company, I've used them for years. And it's possible that a friend or relative, who's using Onesuite is trying to call you.
recieved a call on my cell from this number ,but left no message.....Tried to call back no answer, just busy signal
When I answered ... middle age male voice said, "I got the wrong number." and hung up.
Got this call at 11 pm on a WORK NIGHT, and I had already gone to sleep. It rang about 4 times before I looked at the caller ID then picked up. A woman answered with an Indian accent. "allo?" I bitched her out about the hour she was calling, telling her my number is on the National DONOTCALL list and NEVER to call here again. Pikachu??? You, too??? It must be our trackers, lol.
I missed the call on 1/20/08 9:33pm and redial this number. The line was engaged when i tried to find out who made the call.
My cell phone shows this number calling me at 10:30am on Christmas Day!? Glad I missed it... no message left and we have no family members in California. Don't have a clue who this was, but how in the world did they get my cell number anyway??
Just got another call. Went to voicemail, but they didn't leave a message. I called back but got a busy signal.
These guys have the number listed on their home page: http://network7mediacenter.com/clients.html
looking for me but i told him in third person that im not home. then he asked if i can take a message " to call him back at 410-252-9855
and said i dont know him" who the hell is going to call back someone that dont know and no info about the company.
Received 2 calls in 30 minutes. Lady on the line knew my name and my child's name. Said she was calling on behalf of an aquaintance (said her name and child's name) and went on to read something written to us by the child basically saying learn to love Jesus or bad things will happen. Very persistent and aggressive.
Just got a call from this number on my cell. Didn't answer it, didn't receive a voicemail.
A friend used a discount long distance calling card that routed through this number-totally legitimate in my case.
From my friend in D.C. -- he must've used some forwarding phone service.
Got this call around 12:42 a.m EST time..what the..
this was an un-solicited call on my cell.. yeah, the number is being passed around already. thank you Congress for the privacy act. yeah.......
They called my companies office, some of my workers received several calls from this company. We have filed a major complaint to the California LT. governor about this "VertexGroup"
its onesuite.com calling card...I gave the secret pin to my cousin in Germany, so she can call me on my dime for free!!
Caller ID read Unknown Name. But they left a message - and it was a good friend of mine. I guess it shows up as this number when she calls as she is long distance and this is her provider.

This number displayed on my cell, the other party hung up when I answered. I called back but the number has a busy tone.
someone keeps calling me from this number but IT wont leave me a message ,get a freakin life ,grow up
it's a phone card.. My inlaws have called using it before, but they just called and i was thinking it was a telemarketer, so I didn't answer, so then they called my Cell, and I was like DUH!! So for me, it's someone calling me using a phone card.
Got 2 calls on 8-9 did not know the # so I did not answer one was after 10 pm. ASSHOLES!!
This is a calling card company.
call was from a friend using a calling card - was routed through this number from overseas
this was a number from a trac phone or calling card - i knew the person who called from it, b/c she left me a voice mail. i think it's like a trunk# that calls come thru.
I answered it, but no one was there.Very odd.
I've been getting numerous calls from this number. I don't answer them.
Annick call me from this number. She's in San Francisco and I cant return the call to this number
call from a calling card user
I got the call, but it was my mother-in-law calling. I told her, "Weird -- it said Vertex Group"! She thought it was weird too. I tried to call the number back and a recording said, "At the subscriber's request, this number does not accept incoming calls." My mother-in-law has a land line and a regular cell phone, so it's still a mystery.
It is some kind of a calling-card company. my cousin called from Scotland from this number
I tested by using my One Suite number to call my cell phone. My cell showed a missed call from 213-408-0236. So it is a OneSuite.com number. I use it for long distance as it is only 2.5 per minute from any phone. You people have been hanging up on your family calling.
This is a long distance service provider, so the call could be from a legitimate someone you know and really want to speak with, or from some idiot you really want to avoid!
It's from a One Suite subscriber. I use it, works well.
It was a personal friend who happened to use a calling card to reach me.
Number left on my cell phone, incoming calls, 2007-05-26 @ 5:55 pm. No voicemail message. I Googled the number and found this site.

I received a missed call and when I returned call, No connection. Weird!
Someone called and said they were from some Dept. of Labor and asked for my b/f, who never gives out my # 'cuz he has his own ph.
When I am using onesuite.com to call someone, instead of my actual number, 213-408-0236 appears on the receiving end.

Received a call from overseas from someone using One Suite.Com phone service. Vertex Group is a vehicle for calling card phone services.
Called my cell phone today around 9 p.m. and no answer when I picked up.....strange!
It rang twice on my cell then quit before I had a chance to answer it. No message was left.
this number call twice today... and he/she said anythings..... what kind kids.....
Some jerk called using this number at nearly 1 am. My mother answered and he said that I was being investigated by the FBI. What a bastard.
After reading all of these responses it appears that this number belongs to a phone service provider that when someone uses it this is the service provider number on the ID. For me it came in on call waiting and I didn't get to it in time. No message.
This is one suite. It is a virtual calling plan for long distance. The problem is some ppl don't want their numbers traced so they use a hub to make the calls from.
Others use the virtual calling cards bc of the cheap rates.
Sorry, addendum to the above message... My lab mate was using a calling card provided by OneSuite. So this agrees with what other people hav written.
My lab mate called my cell from our lab at Yale, and this number showed up on my phone.
Called my cell....no message. just the number showed up. Called back, got a busy signal. 11:41am cdt.

One of my friends called me, and this # shows up in my caller ID. Told by him it's a tel. card. Faint, can not call back by this number if I want to find him.

I didn't recognize the number, but answered anyway. The call was then disconnected. That is all I can tell you.

Wow. I was wondering who called me, after I search through google I found this page. Cool. So I don't have to think who called me anymore.
who is this? Someone is really bother in about this.
"This is the number that displays on my caller ID when my sister in law calls. She uses One-suite, which is a discount long distance phone service." Ditto - turned out to be family - not a sales call at all!
I've gotten probably 30 calls from this number on my "unpublished" home phone number in the past 3 weeks. And then today I got a call on my cell phone from this same number. So somebody must know me or have a way to connect my home phone to my cell phone numbers. Every time they've just waited a few seconds and then hung up.
The # 213.408.0236 came up and I answered and all they said was "Emily?" and I answered "Yes..?" and then the guy said "Oh I 'll have to call you right back, I have another call coming in." That was it. THen a few seconds later, that same # tried calling me two more times but luckily I had already discovered this site and did not answer. Are they telemarketers or what?
No info other than the number in my incoming calls. for about 50 calls. But the missed call record was erased by my accident.
I have received 13 calls The last one is March 10, 2007, 5:04pm

It was someone using a onesuite calling card and dialing a local Rhode Island number. I have used it myself sometimes.
This number rang through to my cell phone and office phone. Did not leave a message on either line. Would not answer when I rang back, instead disconnected the call three times.
I used the phone card bought from phonecardonsale.com to call my friend and he saw this number.
My caller ID showed the number, the guy mumbled something and hung up
Who ever called had a very thick, oriental accent
called, no message left, glad i didn't answer!
This number just called my cell and I answered like a fool because I recognized the L.A. area code, except someone on the other end was just not saying anything, almost like an accidental dialed call.
Had the number registered on my call display but didn't recognize it. An Internet search took me to this site amongst others. Guess the call didn't mean anything to me. Good thing I wasn't around to have my time wasted by saying, "Hello!...hello!" over and over again.

hey unknown name- that's what you get from me...
i just let it ring. no id no answer

2nd night in a row I've received a call from this number at 4am CST. This is some big time bs right here. Both calls were answered and the party hung up almost immediately.
pissed off Feb 03rd, 2007
It was a missed call on my cell phone at 3:39pm on 1/31/07.
No message. No caller ID. Just the phone number.
I've received over 30 calls from this number over the last three days. I've picked up about 7-8 times and there is never an answer.
this was to my cell phone
I hve gotten it several times since last night.
4 hangups and one answered
it was some broken english
far eastern trying stating he was from some mortgage group!
when my husband asked if there was a message they just hung up.
rec'd call 1/27/07 (213/408-0236) "Vertex Group, dummy me I answered and the person on the other line said he was from "vertex" pharmacy and that they wanted to refill my prescription. he was very difficult to understand - sounded like he was from India-told him that i was going to report his number to the authorities since we are on the state and national no-call list and there is a reason that we are on this list-told him not to call again. we will see if that works by the way we do not order meds on-line
call received on 2006-12-28 @ 3:57pm EST.
I received a call from this number, didn't answer it, but called it about an hour later. I got a recorded message saying something like "we're sorry you had a problem" and that was it, I had no options.
I've blocked the number... if whoever it is that called me hides who they are, I don't want to talk to them. I guess that's the price they pay for using a low price provider.
This is from a caller using OneSuite.com long distance - 2 cent per minute long distance plan.
This number called here today but did not leave a message. Who are they, anyway?
This number is for OneSuite.com incoming calling card call - a reputable calling card company that I use. I discovered this by using my Onesuite.com account to call my cell phone voicemail from a landline and having this number display on my cell phone caller id. There was no other info other than the phone number on my caller id (there never is any other info unless I enter it myself - darn Verizon!)
I have a friend that lives in NC and when she calls me Vertex Group appears on caller ID. She told me Vertex was a long distance carrier from CA. Its a special rate plan I guess.
I received this call but never picked up.. i was scared but ive picked up an unknown number once and some scary guy said hello so i hung up. who is it?
I didn't recognize the number, but answered anyway. The call was then disconnected. That is all I can tell you.
WAS A CALL FROM A PRIVATE PARTY CALLING FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER
This is the caller ID for calls from people (or companies) using a particular LD company (I don't know which one).
You can not determine who the caller was by this number.
My call was from a business I had just ordered from, calling to verify some info.
