what can we do about these calls when we are on the do not call list. Guess that doesn't account for anything anymore. I am tired of this.

Called at 5:19 pm. Left a voice mail - Indian accent. Lot of background noise. Kept saying "Hello, can you hear me?" Finally hung up. Don't know if he ever realized he was talking to my voice mail.

Some spammer with an Indian accent told me he was calling from Microsoft and that it was a security call and I had been hacked. He called me by name and said his name was Peter Johnson. I said " yeah, and I'm the Queen of England" He started to get pushy and tried to do his scare routine on me. I said, I would call Microsoft myself about this. He hung up. What a loser!!!!!

I missed a call from 213-271-1644 on 2/10/2014 at 9:24 am, so I called back at 10:07 am, and the number was "disconnected, or no longer in service." Who was it and what did they want?

Received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent saying the call was about a recent inquiry regarding weight loss - This was false and I asked he remove my work number from their database. He's called at least 5 other times in the past week.

Guy with an Indian accent said he was calling as a support person for Windows machines, though he didn't work for Microsoft. He named the company, but connection was 90% intermittent (had the word "Tech" in it). Said they (his company) were getting adware alerts, that it had infected all the Windows machines on our home network, and that he would guide me through the removal process. I told him to just give me the name of the virus, since the connection was so awful, so I could investigate on my own. But he pushed back on that. I asked him what product would get rid of it. If he's selling something, I figured this would draw him out. He said he wanted to talk to my wife, but wasn't able to provide any specifics about the error, the name of the infected machine, or any such specifics. The connection was so awful I couldn't make out anything. Had to hang up.
I checked our event logs after I hung up and found nothing. Both of our machines are protected and despite a full scan found nothing.
I suspect the real error would be following the guy's directions.

Just got a call from (Cypress - Los a) at 213-271-1644
I say hello
Sounds like someone riding in a car with a window down.
Then finally I hear a Indian voice.
"hello sir"
"I'm calling because we're receiving signals that your computer is downloading malicious software into your C drive"
At this point I'm laughing so hard I can barley stand.
Then he says "F*** you!"
Then he hangs up.
