They told me it was for New York Veterans. I answer and waste their time. That's the best I can do.
said they were the new york vfw calling in regards of new jersey vfw(wow, already, what a story) they were looking for donations for soldiers. when i told them i already donate to different organizations the man on the phone became aggressive pushing the topic, so i told him to take me off the list and that i know what i donate to so i can sleep at night...i want to know how do these thieves sleep at night! they should be ashamed
This is a hoax. Report them to the Do Not Call web site like I did. Now when I see the number, I pick up and say "Chinese Restaurant, can I take your order?" LOL
they call constantly and at all horrible times of day and night. iI let my machine pick up every call now. They let it ring till the machine picks up and then they hang up. I wish them all some kind of death by phone!
PHONE RAGE Aug 07th, 2007
Left no message on voice mail; when we called back a machine said New York chief of police -- probably a fund raiser.
Cops who don't listen, verbally harassing you for money ('children', 'baseball' etc.) Tell them to go fuck themselves and run into a burning building, damn-ass 'hero's' that they are (yes you got that right, refused to take me off the list)
They call and hang up several times per day. Can't tell if they are phone pros, who keep 90% and give the police 10% or if they are off duty police. Chiefs of police of new york is the call back, but nobody answers.

It is a push for $ Keep in mind the police do not ask for $. Better off giving localy to a particular fund raiser. Where you know what the $ will be used for these calls who know's where it is going!
No Name, but when I pickup the phone it said please hold police something. Sounded like a donation for the police.
