Whoever this is calls at least 4 times a day, even on the weekends, and never leaves a message. It's funny how we received an advertisement in the mail for the New York newspaper and the following week we started getting these calls. The only thing we did with the advertisement was shred it.
I've been getting calls for about a week, from this number or 866-250-8355
. A couple of times they left messages, something like, "...this is a confidential business, matter please call...." Just this past weekend (04/26-27/08) I decided to answer and tell them to quit calling, but one time I just heard music playing, another time a recording said something about pressing 1 to speak to one of their agents or something. I don't see how they keep getting away with what is obvious scam (from what others have said here), but I guess if they're off shore they're out of reach?
they keep calling my cell phone. always before 10 in the morning.

they claim i have an account which i dont
stop calling this number unknown caller id
A voicemail from this # said to reply at 866-350-8355
. Since I can't block calls on my cell, I called, provided my phone number only, discovered they have been calling someone who is not me, and asked them to stop calling me because I'm not the person they are calling. The guy was nice enough. I'll see if the calls really stop.
I kept getting calls from 212-377-0182
and finally got a voice mail to call back at this number. It was a financial service. I gave them my phone number and it turned out they had been trying to reach someone I have never heard of. I asked them to make a note that they had the wrong number. I've gotten calls for about 4 weeks from them and I am hoping this will stop.
Nonstop! They call me nonstop. Ignore, they call over and over again. Pick up, no one there, just a click. Finally, after two or three weeks, I got a voice mail that someone mentioned earlier - an Indian woman stating it's in regard to a very important matter. I know my credit is good b/c I have been under scrutiny in the process of getting a mortgage, so it's not a valid creditor. I googled the number once before and found an article on a block of 212-377 phone numbers involved in some identity theft scheme. I re-registered with Do Not Call but I don't know if it will help. Now I'm also getting calls from 212-377-0364
, which I also can't find on reverse lookup. I think they're evil. Evil all of them.
call your state attorny general, file a complaint, they will also give you a phone number to call to get on do not call list, these guys are real jerks hope to meet them face to face one day.

I get calls from this number 7 days a week at all times of the day or night. They never leave a message. I never answer it, because I don't know who it is and I have registered my number on a do not call list. It is scary.
This number calls 2-6 times per day. They do not leave a message. Today I got a call from a lady with a foreign accent saying she had "an important business matter" to discuss with me, from this same number (this was the message on my answering machine). About 5 minutes later, I got a call from 866-250-8355
, with what sounded like the same lady who left the exact same message. I never answer calls from people I don't know, or unknown or unavailable numbers. From the other comments, I think that is a wise decision.

This number has called me twice today on my cell phone and when I answer the phone, it hangs up.
For nearly two months now, I have been receiving calls from this caller. Caller ID shows "out of area" and more recently "New York." Sometimes the caller has called up to eight times a day. The message on my answering machine expressly says I do not take telemarketer calls. Also, my phone number is on the federal no call list.
I do not answer calls from callers I do not know and especially from area codes where I know no one, like this area code 212. The caller has never left a message.
I have been reporting each call to the federal no call list website but the calls keep coming.
I just called my phone service provider, AT&T. The person helping me would no identify the caller by name but told me it was someone trying to sell internet connection service. AT&T has applied a third-party block on 212-377-0182 at no charge to me.
Caller ID showed Out of Area. When I picked up the phone, there was silence at the other end.
We've received numerous calls - one day alone I counted 15 on my caller ID! Same story as others - person with Indian accent claiming to be collecting on old debt. Outrageous.
I was doing some research online and found others that have received similar calls from various numbers, including 212-377-0182, 866-241-2519
, as well as 212-377-0368
. Several people claim that a collections lawyer named Michael Suffness in the Dallas area is responsible for outsourcing these bogus old collections to Intelinet Global Services Ltd. in India. This is the information that was listed, as well as his website address with his picture:
Michael B. Suffness

We've been getting calls from this number for a couple of weeks now. They don't leave a message and we won't answer because the Caller ID just says Out of Area and lists this number. After reading the comments on this site about this number, I'm glad I've never answered!
I am listed under my first initial and last name. This company called today (10/31/07)looking for a different woman with the same last name and a first name that starts with my initial. I think the company is trying to collect on debts. I told them they were mistaken, that I was not the person they were looking for.
Several years ago Wells Fargo called numerous times looking for a woman with my first initial and last name. After instructing them several times to stop harrassing me and correct their records, I finally resorted to getting my state Attorney General involved. Wells Fargo got a very strongly-worded letter from my AG telling the company it would be prosecuted for harrassment if it did not cease and desist. So, by all means complain to your state consumer authorities if you're getting repeat calls from debt collectors for someone else's debts. After the first call, no company has a right to keep pestering an innocent person and they can be fined, held in contempt of court, etc. if they persist in doing this.
Also, my land line comes with the ability to block calls from 15 numbers. Consider blocking these business's numbers if they don't stop bugging you!
This annoying number calls at least 4-5 times a day. After speaking with an obvious foreign telemarketer, I was told that I did not hold an account and therefore, they could not locate my number and thus remove me from their list. Upon further inquiry, I was asked for my Social Security Number....which was NOT provided! I warn anyone who has this same annoying problem, do NOT give them your social security number. This is an obvious hoax and I'm appauled at how persistent they can be...I just don't know how to stop it!?!

They call my house everyday, they have just called my house 2 times back to back, they never leave a message, and are getting to be a real pain.
I have been getting calls almost every day for the past few weeks (today is 9/6/07). I never answer. Voicemail message left is always the same: A recorded message by an obviously Indian woman who claims to be "calling about an important business matter". Results of one search I did indicated that this number is possibly from Intelinet Global Services. I did receive collection letter from this company for a bogus "debt". I sent a letter denying the debt and requested the details that they are legally required to provide. I received "registered receipt" for this letter, but have not received any response. Calls continue.
They called and said I owed a bill from many years ago that I have no record of owing. They refused to send anything in writing and they keep calling. I checked my cred report and do not even see the supposed bill on my records.
Solicitor? They called twice, no message.
