I get calls from these guys periodically on my mobile phone. They are pretty aggressive and rude. They want to talk about investments.

The man acted like we knew each other and was calling back as promised to discuss a stock for a Chinese company making solar energy products. Talked like I was an idiot for not wanting to invest 30-40K. I hung up. Today, a week later, the number called 3 times, just a quick, half ring.

This is a company (and I use the word loosely) that has been called TOGA Exploration as well as numerous other names. Once the guy is caught, he just refiles under another name. The guy who calls you IS RUDE. That’s because he’s an asshole with very little time to scam as many people as possible before they have to run.

What they do is sell you interest in a “company” that finds oil, natural gas, etc. What they don’t tell you is that they either don’t really go and look for it. That’s why they are able to get away with the scam because the people who invest are greedy and stupid and don’t ask the right questions. Yes, you can sell interest in a company that does nothing. Next time you get call a from this asshole, tell him you are the person he’s calling for then ask him a whole bunch of questions, but make it sound as though you’re really interested so you can waste his time for as long as possible.

Do some research for Toga Exploration on the internet and you’ll see just how corrupt this group is. It’s probably about 3-4 family members who go from place to place to setup shop, get as much as they can, then split. They used to have a Texas number. If you do call the number back, please don’t yell at the lady who answers the phone. Unfortunately, she’s just some person who needs a job and is most likely not going to get paid.

I received a call and answered because only the phone number showed up. The man asked for me (but pronounced my name incorrectly). I said my correct name and said "speaking". Then he hung up on me. I tried to call the number back but it gave a busy signal. i tried several times later and a busy signal came on. It was just weird because he sounded like a professional person with a legitimate business call. For him to hang up the way he did left me with a strange feeling. I decided to search it on the internet and that is when I found this site. I would love to know what is really going on.

They called, asked for owner. Who wasn't in, asked what I could do to help him and was told "NO" in a snide tone, and then they hung up. I'd love to know who these guys are.
