Call came from the New York City Area to Kansas at 12:21 hours CST on 12-15-11. Call not answered and no message left. Other sites report this as a typical credit card better rate scam. Hit the delete button.
Caller ID said this: NWYRCYZN01
Yet another shitbird scammer with a robodia;er.
Automated message about lowering my credit card interest rate. "Press 9 to speak to an agent". I pressed 9, and told the guy who answered that I wanted my number removed from their list. He hung up on me without saying anything.
They called today, no message, called id read New York State....Thanks for posting the previous posts...I guess its nothing to worry about :)
The usual "lower your credit card interest rate" scam. They are trying to get credit card numbers to sell.

This phone number called today with Caller ID New York State. They did not leave a message on my recorder this time.
I had a feeling this was a scam, so I didn't answer. When they left no message, I was sure. Hey,Timbo, when you're finished with their phones, break a few of their bones. I have a 5 lb. sledgehammer you can use!
12/8/2011 - Called at 2:19 p.m., did not leave a message. Caller ID read "NWYRCYZN01 NY". Thanks to all of you who have posted who this caller actually is.
Recorded msg says they're calling about "your credit card account", then "press 9 to lower your credit card rate". I did so and asked him what credit card company he was calling from (knowing that this was not actually a credit card co. or bank). First he said Chase, later he said Visa. I asked him what the last 4 digits of my card number were -- he said the first 4 were 4426 -- I said that's not my card number -- etc. I'm surprised he stayed on the line as long as he did.
Eventually he actually said: "I WAS GOING TO SCAM YOU, MA'AM".
P.S. Go, timbo!
I received this on call-waiting but they left no message and I'm rather concerned. Only 1 call.
Credit card services SCAM - Press 1 and you get a rude Indian guy talking non stop.
Recording about the "lower interest rate on your credit card" scam. If anyone knows where this place is located I will go over there with a hammer and break all of their phones.
