An unknown male caller left a scripted message: "Hi the message is for (NAME & SURNAME). I need you to contact the office UHHH.. in regards to legal paperwork requested to be facilitated to you within the next 24 hours UHHH... through Bexar County please contact me back. My number here is...my number is 210-774-6153." The name on voicemail was similar but wrong. I called back on a private line; the guy hung up after not wanting to disclose any information other than Legal Division. Called back again asked for supervisor, then immediately asked for his manager, a guy named Phil. Phil was persistent and gave no information without my phone number first. He advised they were a call center making calls throughout the nation. It appeared that they are attempting "skip tracing" junk debt through non-involved phone numbers with similar surnames.
