Ms. McDowell: At 16:55 today sit in your living room with a favorite beverage and have a good laugh when nobody comes. If only justice really could move that quickly for everyone ....

That call sounds like countless others from fake payday loan thugs, though yours was off the chain for lawbreaking assertions. Peruse the FDCPA at FTC-dot-gov, you'll see just how illegal that call was. Only problem is these fiends work from offshore, making it difficult to sue them. You might also copy your complaint to the FTC and your attorney general.

This company called me (I spoke with a Supervisor named Sean Rodriguez) and said they were going to press charges against me and arrest me today at 5:00 for money laundering and bank fraud!!! He said that I took out a payday loan from Cash Advance USA on September 17, 2010 and owed them $650.00. He further said they were going to send me to prison. I told him I never took out a payday loan and did not know what he was talking about. He kept asking if I wanted to make a payment today to keep from getting arrested. I told him no - I did not owe any payday loan company money. He brought up the name of a bank I USED to use. He kept saying that if I was on probation then I better let someone know that I was about to go to prison. I told him I was going to contact the DA's office and the Better Business Bureau and he would hear from attorney and hung up on him!
