May be a good cause thought I have not vetted them as of yet. However, they are calling numbers logged with the “DO NOT CALL” registry in violation of the “Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007”, which became law in February 2008. http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2008/04/dncfyi.shtm; https://www.donotcall.gov/

This caller claimed to be from AT&T taking a survey. She asked questions leading to my giving her my zip code, then asked how many land lines we had and the number of people living in the house over/under 18. Then she started asking our religious affiliation and if any of was were or were raised Jewish. And ended up wanting my email which I didn't give her. Thinking about it more, I don't believe this so called survey was for AT&T. Who are these people and what are they really after?

No one was on the line when I answered. Obviously a robocall that didn't hand off the call quickly enough after connection.
