They started calling me after I called in to ask about the TV ad for a Nuwave Oven. They kept calling and I finally ordered it from this salesperson after she discounted the price. I was a little worried about giving my credit card number to this person since she called me. It's only been a few days so I haven't recieved the oven yet but my card has been billed. What's weird is that my card was also charged two different times for $1.00 each at two different places. I don't have any idea who did that but thank goodness Well Fargo thought it looked suspious and called me about it. They said I should cancel my card and get a new one. This may not have anything to do with the Nuwave person....It just seems strange to me.

I found a way to stop all calls trying to leave me messages on my voice machine. If you do not record the first word you say on the message as Hi or Hello the callers machine will not leave a message. Their machine just hangs up.

I called the 800 number advertised on TV to inquire about the oven, but hung up after one ring. I received a call from a lady wanting to know if I had called about the oven a couple days before. I told her I had dialed but hung up(I do not know if the phone even rang), and was not interested now, as my dog was in the hospital and we could not pay for both. She replied that she was an animal lover also, and hoped things went well.
I wondered if this was someone trying to get credit card info, but the conversation ended before she even asked for any info, other than had I called about the Nu Wave Oven.

I received the same information as Julie below when I called on the TV advertisement 07-31-10 about the shipping. I did not order the product and told them they were false advertising because actually your not getting any FREE products with $25 to $30 dollars in shipping fees for each product. Since then I receive a call from this number every day! They need to be stopped!

RE: 207-618-1477 Got a call from this # - we didn't answer it. Called the number back with a *67, blocking ID, and it said there was no such number! Hmmmm

These mother fuckers call me multiple times per day and I have never called them even once. How the fuck do I get them to fuck off? I haven't picked up once.

Forgot to add after I told him to write it down. He read my number to me.

I never gave my phone number to NuWave when I called to ask about their product. They are getting your numbers from caller id.

My husband and I saw NuWave on TV with the 3 payments of $39.99. We were very interested but before calling I did a search on internet about the product to read reviews (from customers and consumer sites).

I read mostly good reviews on the product but one customer did warn people about shipping costs. They did not leave any info on the site about how much they were.

Still interested in the product. I called NuWave. They told me I would get the oven, shipping cost of $29.95. The turbo twister was free but had to pay the shipping of $24.50. The pizza cooking set was free but I had to pay the shipping of $29.95 for it. There was the cover set and these things but total amount was $249.27. I told them thank you but we were not interested.

The next day Chad called. Said that he could save us $80.00 on the unit. I told him we were still not interested. Then disconnected the call.

They call everyday now from a 207-618-1477. When you call they have a message. Your call is very important to us. Please hold while we switch you to an agent. Then I got dead air.

Update: Called number and finally got a human being. Told them if I get one more call from them. My next call will be to the attonery general. He told me it takes so much time for it to be on the do not call list. I told him I should not get any more calls from you since I told you I was not interested. My next call will be to the attonery general and filing a harsement complaint. Since you got my number from a caller id because I never gave it to you, write it down.

I called about the shipping on the nuwave oven (which was like $80 believe it or not because of the "free" gifts) anyway someone told me if you call & inquire & then tell them it is too expensive & don't order that they will call back & offer you free shipping so maybe that is what they were calling about. I didn't answer as I didn't know who it was, but will now if they call back & will update.

I did order a NuWave from the 800 # on TV Paid programming. They got all my information. then I have someone call me and asked if customer service was nice to talk to and gave me another 800# I could call to check on order. I called the number and it doesn't work and then I found a way to get in touch by e-mail and they tell me I never ordered anything. So now I have to contact my credit card company and make sure no damage to credit.
This is a Fraud company and they even give out this info on TV. What is this world coming too.

The other night I called the NuWave 800 number to ask a question about an oven I saw advertised on TV. They answered my question, but I did not order the oven. Now within 48 hours I've received two calls from them about my other call. I hope this doesn't mean they're going to be bugging me.

Continually calls, several times a day. Leaves no message -- sometimes leave "dead" space of open line, no words. Annoying!
