Said they were from Microsoft Windows and there was a problem with my computer and they needed access. When I told them there was nothing wrong with my computer and am an IT tech he got very agitated and demanded access. When i refused he called me several vulgar names. There are way too many people that will fall for this scam and it needs to be stopped. I have been getting these calls several times a day for the past 5 to 6 months.
They repeatedly called. They hang up because I screen all unknowns. We should have a law making it legal for people on the Do Not Call list to hunt down and physically assault telemarketers.

How can these calls be stopped? Do you get pleasure from this Mr. caller? Sick, sick.
East Indian, arrogant, rude. Say they are calling from Windows, or Microsoft. I blasted them again, and asked if they had scruples in India or Pakistan. Don't buy their line and certainly never, never let them take control of your computer. They are out to steal your banking info and identity bad enough so many of our jobs have been stolen by these people now they want to rob us blind too.
Picked up expecting a call from my son from Maine, no one there. I immediately checked the internet and once again it is a Microsoft scammer. I have already blocked calls from Calif., Texas, Oregon, Utah and Idaho.
Call blocked this one too.

They call me all the time, my cell phone simply filters out there phone number. When they get a new number, I will filter that too. Bring it on!
Buy an Orion Orange Emergency Whistle--very cheap. It will end their career as a telemarketer.
I just got a call from them stating it was a call from Microsoft, and that there are malicious files being downloaded to my computer connected to my phone number.
1. Got my name wrong
2. Said my phone number was connected to my internet (it's not)
3. I don't own a windows computer....
Once I told them I don't have a windows, they transferred me to the "Apple Security Department".
Didn't know Apple and MSFT worked so collaboratively over "malicious files".
Asked them the IP address they were seeing, avoided the question.
Said they were with Windows; not true. Microsoft does not call people unless you initiated the call. Said that my computer had expired--don't think so. Got nasty and vulgar and I hung up.
SCAM! Do not give ANYONE access to your computer. Microsoft is NOT going to call you. Report this number to the FCC
I received a call from this number. The caller stated he worked for Windows. I asked if he worked for Microsoft and he stated "no". Ne did want me to log on to my computer and give him access so they could removed some harmful malware on my computer.
They call 2 to 4 times a day. claim they are from microsoft and that I am having computer problems. They would like information. Very rude!!!
they claim to be calling from Microsoft and say my computer is having problems.
