I know this is FIA Card Services, but what makes me ill is that they called 2 days ago from a different number. Also, when I said "Hello," there was no response. I held the line open for 15 seconds and there was no response.
I have actually talked to these people before and they all seem to have horrible Indian accents, to the point that I have had to ask them to transfer me to someone else because I couldn't understand them,
It's some sort of system they have that auto calls, then is supposed to transfer to an actual human once you pick up. Most major corporations have this kind of system.
I received a call at 8:30 am from 207-338-7761 and the name on my caller ID said Accounting Firm. If this is Bank of America, my mortgage payment was made yesterday on the 1st when it is due. If this is for a credit card, I don't own one from Bank of America. I seem to go thru phases of phone calls from Bank of America trying to sell me stuff that I don't want, like mortgage and life insurance...
I got a call from this number, when ask who it was, they said person x's bank. I asked which bank, they didn't answer.

If you are using a cell phone or have caller id on your landline and can id the # coming in to your phone... read and heed
if you are behind on a payment, even for a few days, and you receive a call from an out-of-state number, DO NOT ANSWER IT. It is the collection department for a credit card company.
Record the number on your phone with DNA in front of the bank/credit card company name which you can research here.
You can also change the ringtone to recognize this number and just ignore it.

Left message saying card services
It's Bank of America - they called me at 9 PM - My 4 year old is sleeping people.
The number 1-877-733-5734
is a company called FIA Card Service they are the folks that are in charge of the Bank of America Credit cards. I set up an automatic payment program with them for 5 years and after that the balance would be zero. But they always call asking if the payment has been made. First off my payments are set for the 15th of every month. So don't call me on the 10th. They really need to get there information right before they call. So i just tell them the same thing every time....DO YOU KNOW WHAT DAY IT IS..I guess with them being one of the banks that are to repay the 68 billion government loan they are pulling all kinds of lame tactics.
its bofa your morons. your late on a bill you need to pay you losers. thats why the economy suck because of people like you!!!!

They show up as "Accounting Firm " on caller ID but leave no message. They have been calling approximately every 20-30 minutes!

I have been in receipt of calls from this number during my work hours and I'm not always available to the cell phone during work hours, nor will I answer calls on my cell phone from callers that I do not know. Additionally, the caller never leaves a voicemail message. Additionally, I recognize that I do have accounts with MBNA/Bank of America; however, payments are current and/or payment arrangements where applicable have been made and are current. In addition, I have accounts set up with them on line and with autopay, therefore the payments come out on the 15th day of the month. I do not understand why cardservices would then start calling on the 5th day of the month. And, it happens the same time every month, therefore I am glad to have been provided with this outlet and will continue to ignore the calls from this 207 exchange. Many thanks!
calls start on 8 in the morning until 8 at night.. and keeps calling every 30 minutes (or 20 minutes)
i don't have any overdue payments; i dont have any credit card (or any kind of card) to make a payment for.

Called as early as 8:00a.m....and persisted t/o the day almost hourly....no messages left...
207-338-7761 very persistent, calls up to 3-5 times daily, then lay off for a while and starts all over again.
I do not answer as I answer no calls without caller I.D. and they don't leave messages.
It is the money recovery system. they are blood sucker and try to bother you. I have the posabily of brain surgey in a few days. I blew up at them and try to get around state laws but the truth is out now. I called a the company yesterday and try to explaine why I could not pay my bill. the lady was nasty to me so I returned the favor. I will let the Good lord do the rest.
I might not be here in a few days so they may have a corps to to collect from.
Bite me out
they've called at least six times in the last two days -- finally left a message on the last call referencing my MBNA credit card. It is not a collection call. I called MBNA at the number on the back my card and then confirmed my account is current (which I already knew). Don't call them back; don't give them any information -- unless you want to be a victim of ID theft.
If you are receiving calls from these scam artists, please file a complaint with the FCC: http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html
Guy from this number tried to sell me long distance service. Fast talker. Hung up on him.
Its card services, it means your over due on a credit card you have with Bank of America
Brittany Gallagher with Kurt Services

I missed two calls that show up on my caller ID as Unknown. Then received a call from 207-338-7761. He claims to be Brian Tupply and is calling about "business you do here with us". He says to call at 877-733-5734
at normal business hours.
- He doesn't even mention what kind of business i do there
- He doesn't even give me the name of the company he works for
- He didn't even get my name right
- He talks about normal business hours but doesn't mention what hours they are
call you back? Heck no.
Wrong Name Feb 05th, 2008
Received up 4 call a day at all hours. I tell caller not to call back. I am documenting all incidences. Bill collection agencies are regulated by the state board of corporations. I am going to file a complaint soon.
Called twice already, this time at 5:30am. Lady on phone said she was from Bank of America. NEVER give out any personal info to whomever on the phone. If it was a serious matter B of A would be sending it through regular mail & not be soliciting over the phone!
was the number he left. Said we'd been with them for 5 years withou ever a late payment and they'd like to work things out. Only account we were late on was Bank of America, and when we paid it in full (without returning the call, the calls stopped. So I suppose it's official. It's BofA for late payments.

Bank of America card services, for past due accounts.
Lori Frankfort Oct 16th, 2007
This is MBNA, which was purchased by Bank of America. So if you have a credit card from either company, they're going to call you if you owe them money.
Just received the fourth call from 207-338-7761 in the last two days. They started to call us at the beginning of the month, but I wasn't all that bothered. The frequency is increasing now though as if there's some urgency. Caller ID just reads out "Maine" as in the state of. No idea who it really is. I have read the comments from everyone else. I never had an Amex card, and the last person to have an NBMA card was my dearly departed mother some 20 years ago, and she wasn't at my current phone number. So, I've no idea why they'd be calling, much less how they got my phone. As with everyone else on this blog, if it doesn't say who, we don't answer it. It is interesting that the national "do not call list" has been rendered ineffective. I wonder when the "High Court" (and I sometimes wonder what they're high on) is going to make a decision for the people of this country instead of for the special interests. The FCC finally came up with something that would really benefit the people of this nation, and it got struck down.
I received the call and have them listen to Spanish radio. Next time I answer in Klingon.
The phone rings ,I answer and there is no one on the other end .

found the call on my caller id, called the number and got a recording to stay on the line for an account rep. not good.
called at 211 pm no message left
These people keep calling my cell phone! I do not owe them $$ I don't even know who they really are! THEY ARE ANNOYING!!!
Matt Jameson called my office looking for me, told the person who answered the phone it was "regarding personal business" that he handles for me. He said he was from Card services and left the 877-733-5734
phone number. When I called back I was directed to a person after a few minutes I asked for Matt Jameson but since I didn't have his extension number they couldn't connect me. I asked them what they were and I was told they handle different credit card companies such as Bank of America. Sounds fishy to me.
Received message for an ex-bf from Shaun Dickee, Card Services, 1-877-733-5734
A woman contacted me regarding a business matter. She advised to call an 877-733-5734
The call was directed to a call center. It was regarding one of my Bank of America.
I think they are a con - they ask for a bunch of private info and only have information about me that is public domain
Left a message on my machine saying they were "card services" and calling about an offer and I should call them back at 866-804-6589
. Riiight. They didn't say who they were calling for (several people share this number).

Just got this call, automated VM said it was from card services making me a super offer-yeh right-not calling back!
These folks should be strung up -- as they are as annoying as can be.
Received calls from this number for several days now. Recording said hey had an offer that might benefit me. Finally called the number that the recording gave me and after just punching # and * a couple times, I finally got thru to a human. No idea what credit card they are contracted for but looks like they are just collectors.
They're calling for one of your credit cards that hasn't been paid and is delinquent.
like a couple of other comments, i don't answer if don't know who it is. many calls over last few weeks. i once was an mbna customer, but paid em off and closed acct.
No message just this number.
Who the F are these people do i owe them money?
I keep getting this call. Don't know who it is.
Returned the call. Their company name is "Card Services". Would not answer any other question regarding their company or why they called me unless I gave them my phone number, so I hung up.
They called three times. Left messages every single time.
I called back it says "enter your account #"
I wanted to puch "Up Yours" on the dialpad
this annoying phone number has called my phone 6 times now at all hours of the day. i don't answer numbers i don't know and they never leave a message.
Called twice in one day, never answered cause I was at work, they never left a message either.
They've been calling me every day for the past week. Some days they call twice. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know, and if they won't leave a message, I won't call them back.
They did not leave a message, hung up as soon as voice mail answered.
They call Monday-Friday at the same time. I never answer because my cell doesn't get service in my office building.
No message - caller ID recorded the number. I dialled the number - the greeting said; "customer assistance dept." & gave hours of operation- no company name was said!!
They always leave a recorded message sayint that there are new account services that I need to be aware of. They call EVERY day.
They have called over the last 3 days...I haven't answered the calls, but they have been very persistant.
They called me over two days. They claimed to be calling from American Express about bill payment.
Stupid Girl Oct 12th, 2006
received a call from a Mike Jenace(sp)from NBNA with an offer "that might benefit us"
he suggested calling back
They did not leave a message, just stayed on the phone long enough for the answering machine to indicate incoming message
