I answered thinking it might be my mother's Life Alert company. Nope. Very nice auto speaker. Delay in answering. I hung up. I would get rid of my landline but it is on too much business material.

NACO Marketing corp calling illegally even though I am on do not call list. I scheduled appointment for them to come out, then file do not call complaint with state department of justice. When installer arrives I tell them situation and they reveal who telemarketers are. I write down their license plate just in case and I give them the open case number for my DNC complaint. I then contact State Department of Justice with updated info and let them fine the involved parties.

This is how you make illegal telemarketing companies Go out of businesses. Cost them time and money.

Recorded msg said it was Donna, and they would be out in my neighborhood giving away alarm systems. I tried to respond and they hung up.

They called me from 1-313-355-5255 asking if I was the home owner I told them they did not need to know that. They also called from 1-206-743-0952 Also. It was an automated system also as I know the Survey system method of asking questions Do not answer any questions About whom owns your house or cars, this is another scam. They use the criss cross method of information and can find out whom the house is owned by contact the company and hack into computers as they did with Target and Macy's they can also open up credit cards this way. They did this to me in a matter of minutes. Don't Answer questions or give them information of any kind.

Doesn't pay all that well, Dave. These low-level chumps aren't worth the time, or the dime.

My advice is to get a phone with call-blocking capability - such as a Panasonic KX-TG series model, which can block 250 numbers.

This must end. We need news reports to start reporting several of these callers found dead and bloody slumped over their keyboards. Soldiers of fortune, where are you?

Americas problem is no one is punished for wrongdoing.

A recorded message saying "Hi, this is Donna. We're going to be in your area and giving away 20 Home Security Systems". I'm on the do-not-call list, so this is most likely another scam.

A complain has been filed with the FTC.

Like our Federal Government the DO NOT CALL LIST PROGRAM is a HOAX. It is a waste of time and money. Considering the amount of calls I get and report it is probably NON-MANNED as well.

They called trying to give me an alarm system and updated phone line for free. They were actually on the line, but there was like a 3 second delay for me talking and them responding to EVERYTHING. For example, they said hi how are you this morning. and I said I am fine, how are you. (silence for 3+ seconds) she responds I am fine thanks for asking.
