They asked for the name that is on our phone record and as quick as I could say unavailable, the pitch started on what a donation to FOP would be valued. I have seen this on the news. I dont do any by phone or mail donations ever. We are on the DNC so they are getting reported! Dont be taken by a scammer. Do good local only ~ aint in my area code, I am not even going to wait for you to take a breath to ask questions. Caller disconnected.
Did not answer and they left no VM
Called our Public Safety department at 2008 hours and asked if "the lady of the house was there". Male caller hung up when informed they had contacted Public Safety Department. Shows as "WA, USA" on Caller ID.

They used my first name and then asked to Speak to Rick. I asked who was calling and they hung up on me! No one by the name of Rick lives with me. They keep calling in the evening!
Multiple calls over past week; caller ID says "TX FOP Fundraiser"; we don't answer--no message ever left.
God a call from them at 6 in the evening. We don't live in this area code, so I knew instantly that it was a scam.
I recived a call after 8 in the evening and the called i.d. said "frat ord police". they did not leave a message. I did some searching online and found out that it is probable a scam. there is a real police organization and some horrible people decided to take advantage of people and steel a good name. i hope they catch the people responsible for taking advantage of people by asking for donations for the dept. good luck with catching them.
