206-426-6486 Out-of-state Unassigned # being used to leave me a message to tell me how to vote in my state. Obviously some sort of telecom # being sold over & over to whoever needs it at the time.

Unfortunately, political calls are not included in the do not call registry. They should be just as businesses.

They rang the phone, but nobody was there when I answered. After about 20 seconds, I got disconnected. My guess would be a call center doing political telespaming, but since they never picked up the conversation, do they lose the (insane) political immunity from DNC and particularly the call/hangup rules?

These people never stop! They call all day right up to 9 PM, and all weekend even Sundays. I don't have credit card or any other debit..thank God! So what do they want? I am also on the national do not call list but they seem to be getting around it.

This number is a fax machine "off regular biz hrs". Send that 206# a fax advising them to stop calling your number. By law, they must stop calling you. I registered a complaint with the FTC - took less than 5 minutes. 877-382-4357. Will check FTC for class action law suit. Call today! :-)

Called and left automated voice mail message about something related to loan renegotiation or loan reduction. They violated the DO NOT CALL guidelines blatantly as my number has been on there for over 12 months now. This number should be taken down by authorities as it is obviously acting in gross violation of federal do not call policy and is apparently acting as if they will get away with whatever they are doing. The telecom company allowing the automated dialings should be fined also.

Yvette,

You're full of it. Truly. Yes, you may be a telcom. However, your business practices are terrible. Guys, they operate from multiple numbers - the latest I've received calls from is: 206-426-6486. I smell class-action suit.

Let it go to the answering machine. Got a recording that said it was "Janie from the loan servicing department". I hit the stop key before the message could finish.

THERE IS A WAY TO BLOCK THESE CALLS (ALMOST) All cellphones allow you to assign a ringtone to a specific number. This way your spouse or kids can have their own ringtones so you can tell its them when they call. If you save the incoming number, name it "telemarketer" or "DON'T ANSWER" and assign it a ringtone of "silent" the calls will come in, but they won't bother you during a meeting, dinner or television show. Even if you are on the line, if they calls comes in it will be identified as "telemarketer" or "DON'T ANSWER" and you will know not to click over to it.

I even created a category in my cellphone phonebook called "telemarketers" so my real phonebook is not cluttered up with these jerks. The only thing you have to be careful of is picking up the phone to call someone and accidently answering an incoming telemarketer call because it didn't ring.

This is a great way to manage this problem without losing your mind (which is what they want you to do.)

They didn't leave a message! My number is unlisted. I am also on the National Registry DO NOT CALL list. Anything that could be done to bankrupt the people to make these unsolicited phone calls i will be interested in voting for.
