Left no message. From the numbers shown, this outfit has called me before. Last time, I got a person whose first words were: 'What is the number of the credit card you wish to lower the interest rate on?" When I said 'not so fast', the person hung up.

All I heard was harp music...Really.

I returned the call, and got an answering machine.

No message was left on my answering machine. According to several people at
800notes.com, these are the "Credit Services" scammers who will claim to be from
Mastercard and/or Visa and claim they are calling to reduce your interest rate.
What the scammers really want is your credit card number and expiration date,
which they will ask you to provide for "verification".
