Same as JR's comment of 2009-12-14 but I listened to more of the message before I hung up. Scam in violation of my DNC listing.
It is a scam. They want to consolidate all your credit cards into one bill and lower your rate by "negogiating" with the banks, BUT here is the catch, you have to pay them $800 in a one time, lifetime fee to do this, but don't worry, "no money out of your pocket", they will spread their fee out over your cards......
I work for a company that installs phone systems, I was in the office of one of these scam companies one day installing a new system and listen to their speil, I listen to the owner actually tell one of his employees, "I love this job, it is like taking candy from babies." When customers asked to speak to, or the company says I will no pass you to my supervisor, it was always the person sitting next to them, and it was never the same person. Everyone is a "supervisor".
They have on the wall of each cubical list of things to say each time a customer says I am not interested, or I can't afford it.......
These people should be locked up and the key thrown away.......The biggest bunch of crooks and losers you will ever see in person!!!!!!!
I answered the phone and said hello several times but the person on the end would never say anything and then the call disconnected. And btw, I am registered on the DO NOT CALL list... a lot of good that has done!!
Showed up as Exec Suite 2, and recorded message just said "Hello, we're calling in regards to your credit card. There's no problem with your account...(at which point I hung up). They didn't specify WHICH credit card, or WHAT account, or identify themselves in any way - so I figured it was a scam and hung up. Now I wish I hadn't even answered.
exec suite 2....no caller
I just received a call from these criminals, but didn't answer in time. When I called back a few seconds later, I received a recorded message, first in arabic then in heavily-accented English to the effect that the number was not in service. Before I heard the recording, however, there was a long interval with only a siren sound, which probably means that the call was forwarded to a boiler room in an arabic-speaking country.
Unkown number - first an IVR "...lower your credit card rates ..." option-1 gets live representative. Asked for the name of the company several times. Each reply was "We represent Bank of America, CitiBank, Visa, MasterCard, and Discovery." Third time was-not the charm, I asked "what's you company name?" hang-up.
This a spoofed number with a Seattle, WA exchange. It's an old FAX number from a out-of-business company.
Account Services. Have not received calls from this scam in some time. This time around they are presenting a real-looking phone number (instead of -0000), and the robo-dialer offers an option 2 to have your number removed from the call list. Selecting this option presented a live body speaking broken english who promptly hung up after asking to have number removed from call list.
A recording saying something about lowering my interest rate? I've had the same calls over the past 3 or 4 years saying the same thing and have reported to complaints on the do not call list? Continues but not as often.

"Exec Suite 2" popped up on Caller ID. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.
"Hello, this is Heather with Account Services. I am calling in regards to your current credit card..." was the recorded message I received. Time to report a to ftc.gov as a Do not call violation.
No Message, just saw on caller ID
Number showed up on Called ID log. The didn't leave a message. No idea who called.
Another idiot with nothing else to do but bother others! Will leave no msg either.
Pressed 1 to speak with a live person. Asked what they wanted and individual yelled at me saying "Didn't you listed to the message!" I asked if he was yelling at me and he said "What a stupid idiot you are!" Asked for Supervisor but he hung up. Tried to call back but unsuccessful
caller Unknown Wanted me to "press one" to "lower my credit card interest" "press two to disconnect" I figured I would get someone who wanted to argue with me if I pressed 2 so I disconnected instead.
