I've been receiving several phone calls from this number since 11/20/2009. They typically call between 4-6PM EST. I never answer and they never leave a message. If this is for ACLU, I am disheartened and frustrated. I donated money to foster some small change not to be harassed.
I received a call for the same thing. What is going on?
Dont respond when I answer
dont know tkmk co and they did not leave a msg. call several times a day!
Received a call from that number today, it sounds like a sophisticated interactive voice response system, I am also on the DNC list When I gave "him" a response "he" was not expecting, it said "I am sorry I missed what you just said"
I received two calls this month (August 2010) on my cell from this number. Caller ID shows "name unknown." If we're on the DNC list, who do we complain to?
Got the call this morning. I'm concerned that they're checking for who has a security system and whether it is monitored ...... and what they do with that information. If I'm burgled in the near future, I'll know who to report to the police.

My wife answered the phone the man started to ask if we wanted a free alarm system trial when told NO wanted tel# and info wife hung up number was 206-397-1523
we are also on the dnc list
Just got a call from these clowns. Since I lived in the Seattle area for 6 years, I actually picked up thinking it might have been someone I knew but all I got was a dial tone. The number came up on my caller ID as unavailable, so I Googled it. Good thing I did.
Got a call from this number at 10 AM and then exactly 3 hours later I get a call from 402-982-0705
advertising the same thing
I love it, spam cell calls from this number and spam in this response list. Makes me want to rent a cabin out in the middle of nowhere. Arrgh!
In Chicago. On DNC list for 3 years. Clearly a telemarketing call. Hey FCC: They need a fine!
Got this call on my cell. Home security scam - will install "free security system if they can put a lawn sign in my yard." I am so thrilled to get a call on my cell phone from this company while I'm at work. NOT. Annoying!
I'm on the DNC list. Have been for 4 months now for my cell #. Funny how the calls keep coming...
Same call today - asking to be a advertising home for them in exchange for a free security system
got the call again. i'm using callcentric voip Internet phone so i had priviously logged on and blocked this number so my phone won't ring when they call. they get a 'phone disconnected' message. (: the only way i knew they called again was by checking my call logs.
tisk tisk, the morons call even when they get a number disconnected message. they must be an american company. lol
i hope they call lots of times. i won't know about it.

I got that same freakin' number about 3:00pm, and I'm on DNC as well and totally agree with at least a large fine. I've been on the FDNC since March and lost the number and they said if we receive a call like this to call the Federal DNC List # and report it....... Also think it should apply to TEXT Messages/ received a TEXT from a credit report debt program hahaha and TEXT them--- THIS IS A CELL PHONE YOU F@#%, ARE THE COOKIES MADE FROM REAL GIRLSCOUTS!!!!!!!!

Just got this call. 07/20/10 - 1:09pm - to my cell phone, that has been on the DNC list since the day the list became available.
didn't answer. No message.
Boy there needs to be a heavier penalty for ignoring the laws, like 6 months jail time and 10,000 fine per incident for first offense.
It smells way too dangerous though, auto dialing for a security company that doesn't exist, asking you about your "home" security.
Typical government - the laws you do want enforced, they won't. The laws you don't want, they'll pass anyway.
RECEIVED SAME TYPE OF CALL, THIS EVENING, FROM ACS SECURITY, CALLER KEVIN, I HUNG UP BEFORE HE STARTED THE SALES PITCH- I AM ON THE NO CALL LIST, THE 206-397-1523 NUMBER IS UNPUBLISHED, BUT IS LOCATED ON 4TH AVENUE AND JAMES STREET, SEATTLE, WA, NEAR PIONEER SQ, ACCORDING TO MSN WHITE PAGES MAP PIN POINT! ALSO THE NUMBER IS A LAND LINE.
Got a call on my cell phone, which is on the do not call list, and the guy said he was calling about a free home security system. Which is stupid because I already have a home security system. Hung up on him before he could finish.
They didn't leave a message
Called my cell today wanting to give me a free alarm system for putting a sign in the yard. Asked if my system was monitored and if I had a contract. I wonder too if they're trying to figure out if you're an easy target if your system isn't monitored.
Called on my cellphone and gave vague repeatative answers to my questions on how he got my number. "On-line business partners" was one. Even after I told him I already had security he continued firing questions as to who and if I paid monthly. Told him I was not interested and not to call back and he still kept after me with the same questions, which finally made me hang up on him to get him off the phone. Free security if I let him put a sign in the yard. No ID, just the number.
Did not answer call. I always file a complaint with DNC. I found when typing in the number that I'd filed another one recently on a similar number 206-397-1505
I got the same call on my cell, Security system company told me that one of their on-line clients passed along my information and he wanted my name to send me to spomeone else.
I asked him which company and he just repeated it was one of their on-line clients. I told him if my information was passed on to him, then he would have my name. He then said he had a recording and played it for me. It was my voice saying a really jumbled up name.
That tells me he recorded me as we were speaking and then played back two words scrambled so I would say no, that's not my name my name is... Only I didn't fall for it. I told him I had had the same number for 10 years and that was not my name and no one elses name could be associated with my number. He then realized he had been caught out and told me to have a nice day and hung up.
Called and got my answering machine, didn't leavea message.
called my cell #, i asked them to take me out of their database but she just kept talking. i filed a complaint at www.donotcall.gov and i suggest you all do the same! hopefully we can get these bastards
yeah, that number called me too, no message left. I don't even calling the numbers back, but I never knew there was a comments section lol ty
Got a call from them trying to sell me some of there crap and I keep telling them no and to stop calling me and they don't listen. I am even on the DNC list but to them they don't really care, also I told them to take me off there call list and they told me it takes 24 to 48 to be removed and three days later I got a call from them again. I am getting really pissed off with them.
Called my cell. Told them this was a private #, do not call, etc. then some guy said his name was Kevin and the reason he was calling was to offer a free home security system. I told him he was wasting my minutes and as I was hanging up on him, he was still giving his spill.
If they call your work number, transfer them to your fax machine...
Just for fun, if you are working or living in an environment that you could do this in, answer the phone whenever a suspected telemarketer is on the line. If you hear a real human voice and they start their shpeel, hold a gas charged air-horn to the phone & blast them for a second or two! You can get them from amazon.com for as little as $7.00 for the 1.4oz can or under $30.00 for the 8oz which will last a very long time if used in short bursts. Refill 8oz cans are about $16.00. Free Shipping often available on orders over $25.00!
Even if it's a recording, wait and see if a human takes over the call or if there is an option for them to start recording you, then blast them!
Don't get mad, GET REVENGE!

Home security sales/scam.
I had a call from 206-397-1523 with caller id of tkmk today and they were offering me a free home security system if I agreed to allow them to put a sign in my front yard.
They called us a few minutes ago, was not sure of the number... picked up and they offered us a free alarm system if we advertise their company with a sign on our lawn. asked us if we had an alarm system, and insisted that we tell them who we are in contract with.
probably a scam to see who does not own an alarm system and to rob them.
KEY: ALWAYS TELL THEM YOU OWN AN ALARM SYSTEM NO MATTER WHAT. IT IS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY.
If they call me again, I'm going to set up an appointment to get one of their systems and then when they show up, I'll tell them I changed my mind and close the door. Two can play their game!
I wonder if they are trying to figure out if your home is protected or not so they can have someone in the area pay a visit and break in!
I received a call from them today trying to market the same fre home secutiry system.
Call on cell phone offering home security. I said don't call and hung up.
They are selling a home security system.
Wanted to know if my home had an alarm system. Marketing alarm systems but would not identify the company.
Called my cell phone. Said they were some group. I think the person was live...
Also check reated number 1-206-397-1523
. The caller ID for this number was clearly NIK CO. A harsh-sounding woman who identified herself as "Joyce" said that she was calling about "your credit card". I screamed "Shut Up!" into the phone and hung up. I have heard from other friends that they have been being bombarded as of late by phone calls about their Discovery credit cards.
As I have commented numerous times, these psychos do not obey the rules about Do Not Call. I have been on DNK for over 4 years now. Does this stop the intrusions? No. Maybe, if the DNK is not working, it should be discontinued.

Received an automated message. Number given to me to call back was 888-669-4559
. Dialed that number and was told it was "non-working" and to call 888-744-2977
instead. I did speak to a representative concerning a bi-weekly payment plan for a new automobile that I had purchased about 3 weeks prior. I made the rep confirm my last name and the new vehicle info, before I would confirm my Wells Fargo automobile loan account number. The rep indicated that he need to confirm the account number prior to submitting my bi-weekly payment to Wells Fargo -- to be sure it was credited to MY account and nobody else's account. I gave no further information other than this Wells Fargo auto loan number and that's all they asked for.

Santa Barbara California - Don't know - Caller id, didn't answer
I have had this number call my home
So if this is a home security company, how can they work on my home if they are in some other state? When these calls come in and I see them on the caller ID and don't recognize them, I just pick up the phone and listen and then, when they hang up, I hang up my phone.
security company asking to install a free security system in your house, but you would need to post a sign of their company name on your lawn.
A man called my cell phone, wanting to offer me a "free home security system".
I'm filing a complaint - Both cell and land lines are also on the DNCL, and this call came in today on my land line. No message left, either. DO NOT PICK UP - THEY'LL THEN KNOW IT IS A VALID NUMBER. Otherwise, you'll keep getting many calls from them.

They also use 206-397-1523
, the caller identifies himself as Kevin with Home security systems or home security group. I have told him not to call my cell, explained i was on the do not call list, and that it was illegal to do both in my state. They say sorry and hang up. Asking to speak to his boss will get you hung up on. I called the number back and I got an opt out option which I selected. I have reported them to the FCC and the Do not call registry. My next step is the better business bureau.
The want to just GIVE you a free security system and all you have to do is let them put a sign on your lawn. Right. I bet.
Yea got this call at work must be some more loosers trying sell something I don't want.
They've been calling me for over a year, on my cell phone. I've been registered on the DNC list for atleast as long. They keep trying to market me a home security system...even though I keep telling them I'm living in an apartment. They say "Oh, sorry" and hang up...then I get a series of calls a month later when the same stupid thing happens again. Are these people idiots or are they just REALLY, REALLY, hungry? I'm pretty sure I've asked them to remove me from their call list...but nothing has changed. Just got a call from them again.
they called, left no message. It is odd how the DNC kist seems to have little effect on some of these people.
called cell phone, very odd responses to my questions of how they got my number. offered free security system by being willing to put their sign in my yard.
