I answered the call on the first ring. The caller hung up immediately. *69 revealed the number 205-444-4444. I called the number, and the receptionist answered "Freedom Heating and Cooling." They were cold calling to sell services. When I asked the salesperson if they were somehow exempt from the national Do Not Call List, she responded they were not. She said they get their names from a company who supplies them with a list. She offered to take my name of the list. When asked if this company continues to send updated lists, she responded they did. When I asked how taking my name of the current list would somehow keep my name from appearing on the new list, she had no idea.
They've called my number off and on for years. They are listed on whitepages.com as Freedom Heating & Cooling 630 20th St N, Bessemer, AL 35020
I let them service my units 3yrs ago. We didn't renew the contract. They started calling me over a year ago, calling 4-5 times a day wanting to do business again. I have told them at least 5 times to remove me from their list. They remove me for maybe 1 month then start all over again!
I have told these people three times already that I am NOT interested, and that I am on the national do not call list, and asked them to put me on their do not call list. The lady I just talked to informed me that if I EVER give my number to any merchants, that they can then "sell my number" to anyone else and it goes back into the system. I know better than that, as I am a telemarketer myself, and we HAVE to check numbers against the national do not call list, UNLESS the person we are calling has done pryor business with OUR company, so there!
Keeps calling even though I've asked to be removed. When I answer the system hangs up on me.
could tell it was a spoofed phone number, so I did not answer it. Looked it up on reverse lookup and it appears to be a number spoofed by Freedom Heating.

Freedom Heating & Air.
These clowns have been calling me for years despite my being on the "DO NOT CALL" list and repeatedly asking them to take me off their list.
The next time they call, Im going to tell them "ok", I want it. Whatever it is. Then give them a wrong address or if they have my address, still let them come. Then, after they come her, ask them if they will NOW stop calling me?
This is a number Portfolio Recovery junk debt collectors use to try to trick you into answering and confirming your number and information. Don't be fooled.

Selling spring cleaning on air ducts. Told black lady that # was on Do Not Call List and she said they would put mine on theirs. Told her that they needed to check their list against the Do Not Call List before calling. Went into she didn't have a way to do and I told her to tell her boss that they were going to get into trouble. Called back, got black man and asked to talk to manager who was conveniently 'out'. They have called before, but I haven't recorded the information. This time I will. Am reporting to the National Do Not Call List and FCC. Scam artists are out in full force!
These fucking slimeballs just ignore the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST and call anyway. Every 3 months.
Someone needs to go postal on their asses !
Selling heating tune ups.
