Silly IRS scam. Wasn't home. They left voicemail saying I was being sued by the IRS. Uh Huh.
I got a call from these a-holes this morning. His accent was so thick I could not understand a thing he was saying, and my Vonage voice mail transcription made no sense. Please know that the IRS contacts people by mail. They do not phone.
Hope this scam is reported to FBI or treasury department, before someone really gets hurt.

This is a very sophisticated phone scam, impersonating an IRS officer. Don't give any personal information or money to these people!!! They give false badge numbers and file numbers. We were contacted by a Mark Smith with an Indian accent ??? :)first they scare you , you owe taxes because you misfiled, then they accuse you of tax evasion, somebody allegedly was already at our door we did not answer, so we were running from the IRS and could be arrested. Then they propose to settle outside court and ask for money. We did not let this go further and told them that if they could not send us documents about the case then we would go to court. He ended the call right then.
