Pre-recorded message saying: "This is family housing authority. Is your home in foreclosure? We may have a solution if you would like to hear more information about mortgages please press one." My number is registered on the do-not-call list and they called anyway.
I am 37 on Social Security Disability on a subsidized housing voucher live alone with my dog in a one bedroom apartment AND have never been a homeowner. How in the hell did these people get my number thinking that I might have money or something. The recording said, This is family housing authority is your home in foreclosure we may have a solution if you would like to hear more information about mortgages please press one. I did when I got someone on the line they answered as Mortgage Solutions I said I though the recording said Family Housing Authority The voice said that Mortgage Solutions was a division of Family Housing Authority. So I explained my situation and said so I can't get a mortgage right to which they said no and hung up abruptly.
They called and said they were Mortgage Solutions trying to tell me that my mortgage was behind and I had to act before it was too late.
Received two calls to my cell within 30 minutes of each other this evening. I didn't answer because I was at work or on the bus and no voicemails were left. I was curious who could be calling me from the East coast, so I looked it up here.

Called twice...no message.
Automated message telling me it's my last chance to refinance my mortgage. Pressed 1, man answered. Told him they needed to remove me from their calling list. He asked if my mortgage was bing foreclosed on. Said no, he hung up on me.
Calls my cell - leaves no message - annoying how do I block this? I wish I could just press a code and block a number that I never never want to come into my phone again...
