I could hear the sound of a call center in the background. There were two calls. The first was from a woman who as soon as I spoke, said, "Wrong number, sorry", and hung up. The second call actually asked for someone named "Sharandra", but as soon as I said that the operator had a wrong number, she said, "Sorry", and hung up, too.

is this the new trick of collection agencies to actually use a generic name to make people think the call is coming from someone "real"?
