In addition to the below, I actually ended-up speaking to the supervisor. I mentioned that is was not good business practice to have an assistance calling and putting me on hold... we are all busy and respect is important... it didn't get any better as the supervisor was pretty rude.
A live person was on the line when i answered. said my warranty had expired and that a supervisor wanted to talk with me. before i could respond, she put me on hold. after waiting for 2 minutes on hold, i hung up.
