Re: 443-390-1400: Have had sudden spike in unwanted calls that result in hang-ups. These originate from various numbers/nodes, but according to reports online for reverse look-up information, they are from the same source. I picked up the phone tonight and played along. I finally asked politely to be removed from their calling list because my number is registered as a "do not call" number. The line went dead in mid-sentence. Voice sounded like a bad connection. Indian or Pakistani would be my guess as to ethnicity of caller. Have seen numerous reports from other people that confirm this information. I will post the various other numbers here, and separately: REMEMBER: Do your part and report these vermin at:

Other offending numbers:
303-974-1805 ID: CI
202-747-7385 ID: CI
443-390-1500 ID: UNKNOWN NAME
201-257-4829 ID: CI
410-774-8401 ID: CI

They called today I didn't answer nor will I. Glad to have caller ID. In time they do finally give up! I have to capability on my phone to silence specific phone #s so it wont bother me. It'll just show up as missed.....that way my day isn't interrupted by annoying telemarketers.

I too kept getting calls either for myself or my husband. Sometimes they said Career Institute and also something like "get-an-education.com" I tried to be nice and let them know that we are definitely not interested. Still they keep calling and calling and calling. They also said something about my husband filling out an online form requesting more info. This is ridiculous. We have no reason to do such a thing. I'm going to try Jerry's approach during EST business hours and see if we can get some relief.

I finally answered the phone and learned that I had signed up to receive info about continuing education. Same thing from many other numbers. I was told that the online application was filled out by misscandy@yahoo.com. Had MY name, phone number and address. NOT my e-mail address. How does this happen? Where do we complain? I, too, asked to be removed from the list. Unfortunately, way too many others making the calls.

I have been receiving several calls a day. No messages are ever left. After reading the comments on this page I called number and press #1. I got a rep on the line and asked to be removed from their call list. She informed me that I inquired about taking online college classes that is why they were calling. I just told her "no thanks, please remove me from your call list". She said no problem it is done. LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS!

1-727-344-6293, 1-410-744-8401,1-202-747-7385, 1-201-257-4829.
There is a buzzing sound left on the recorder every day, even though I Block-Out many of the calls. Sometimes, the Operator ask them to try their call again. They just leave a buzzing sound,no message.
I got the Reven Media name on the web, No Name is ever shown.
This kind of calling needs to Stop. The telephone company knows about the calls, the police need to call them.

When I answered the phone, a man said may I speak with Jessica. I said "this is she" and then he hung up. I called the number to find out what he wanted and who it was and the voice recording says that it is The Career Institute. If you want to speak to a rep. just press 1.

Leads are generated by responding to web adverts. This is what happens when you respond to web adverts for free shit and don't press the 35 "no thanks" buttons. You MUST click no thanks buttons, or else you'll be bombarded with calls and junk mail. There is a way to optout by calling any one of CI's numbers back. Press option one to speak with somebody, they will take you off their call list.
