I contacted the Campaign for Liberty (C4L) by email to confirm that this was indeed one of their telephone numbers. The C4L returned my email and said that, yes, indeed, that was one of their telephone numbers.

Absolute pests. They have been calling two or three times everyday for the past couple weeks. I once sent away for Ron Paul literature for a project I was working on. Big mistake, they won't leave me alone! I'm not interested in your kooky agenda.

Had 2 calls form this number in the past 12 hours. first call silence, second a woman asked for my son by name, mispronouncing his name. I asked for a message and she would not leave one. Caller ID simply showed District of Columbia, which is why I answered in the first place. Now I'll ignore it and keep the answering machine off when I'm around. I wonder what they pay the people making the calls? Boring job but certainly pretty easy money I'd think...which is a shame for whoever is hiring them. Unless their friends are running the company and the payments are coming from donations from elsewhere...something which I know happens.

I answered this call, said hello but there was silence. Waited a few seconds, said hello again, still no one on the other end. So I hung up.

If you ever get a call from this number, don't answer it. If you do they will be never ending. They will continue to call until you answer the phone. I have told them for several months I do not want their phone calls but they disregard my wishes and keep calling anyway. I finally had to threaten to turn the matter over to an attorney.

I called the number back, on a Sunday. Their message states they are "campaign for liberty". They did not have the option to request to have my phone number removed from their list, but their VM said if I wanted "to leave a message, to do so after the tone". So how about we all call on Sundays and leave a "please support the freedom from telephone solicitors by not calling us again" message on their vm? :^D ..... isn't it time for a TRUE third party for this country, who will actually represent THE PEOPLE !!! Could we get Ron Paul to head it?

Called multiple times today (8/12/09) and has called a few times in the past week. We don't pick up the phone if we don't recognize the number. This one came on as "TV survey" on the CID. We've also been getting calls from 202-730-9944 "connectme" on the CID, which started about the same time.

Very rude attitude from the start. Hung up when I asked who was calling. Probably Campaign for Liberty.

This is C4L. I belong to them, and they are probably trying to notify me of something important.

are we positive this is from C4L? What if it is obama? ^notice it started February of this year, not during RP's campaign, and after inauguration

Yes, I had one last night, and no one answered me. Ron Paul is getting ripped off, by these connect me freaks showing they called our numbers, but not talking or saying anything. So they are charging him for vapor calls. When I talked to someone from them before a older black woman , she did not even know anything. They should at least have supporters calling people instead of hired help, with no interest in the campaign.

Although the Caller ID said "CONNECTME" (July 20, 2009) I bet it's still Campaign for Liberty, because I've given money to Ron Paul before. I don't know if they left a message because Comcast Voice Mail was down. (I cannot recommend Comcast Voice Mail unless you hate getting messages in a timely fashion.)

This is Campaign for Liberty. A great organization. It has my whole-hearted support. It should have yours too. FREEDOM FOR THE PEOPLE. We are not slaves and that's what they are trying to do to us...NO MORE FREEDOMS. A police state, micro-chipped, cash-controlled society where a few global elites have complete control over everyone and everything (including the air you breathe). GIVE WHAT YOU CAN TO CFL PLEASE. THX.

Every night at 630pm Central Standard I get 4 rings and no message. Isn't that courteous and professional? I never had anything to do with this group but it is a carryover from the Ron Paul campaign.

I like Ron Paul in general, but the Republicans wouldn't put him up for election - what choice did we have? Obama was the only choice of the two. If the Republicans themselves will put a real candidate forward? I would be there!

Bunch of fools thinking they can free us from government oppression. Like I care if the country is on the road to fiscal failure brought about by the printing of fake money. I just want my bailout to come through!
