I wish I had a penny for every time someone bitches about callers which ARE EXEMPT from scrubbing the DNC list, goes on to blame ''dah gubment'', and insists nothing is done to help with violators.
The following URL links to the FTC FAQ page which the DNC site *twice* coaxed you to read before you registered your numbers. See items 28 through 32 in particular.
You will please note that the federal DNC program collects complaints which are useful when regulatory and legal action is taken. You're only adding to a database, and no more. This too is explained if you take the few minutes to READ THE TERMS YOU HAVE AGREED TO. You cannot expect someone to leap from a desk and solve your personal problem just because you file a complaint, moreso when that complaint is about something already permissable.

I wish I had a nickel for every time I post something on the do not call registery ... which is suppose to be a governmental agency helping citizens. What a scam! They do absolutely nothing! Waste of time! The best places to look these numbers up is on this site and 800notes ... but sometimes they don't work b/c another site is always trying to take them over!

Dont Call Me Jan 20th, 2011
it says that a state rep not sure which one cause my voice mail cut off the first part of the msg.is calling to invite me to a town hall meeting. i picked up the phone and the msg just kept going and no one was there to tell me how to be on the telephone town hall meeting, or connect me. then i called the number back after it was done, and left a msg for the town hall meeting to call me back so I could get on it. it was supposed to be about consumer scams in NE> in the msg it says 'sorry I missed you..." well how can they miss someone if I pick up the phone? it does nothing to connect one to the town hall meeting on the phone setup. as far as i can tell.
I received a call tonight for a local candidate running for house district 87 in Texas. It was a town hall type of call and you were able to ask the candidate questions about issues that you thought were important.
