I received a recorded message by a female from the Cash Grant Institute. At the end of the recording a partial telephone number for the Capitol Hill office of 202 68 was stated and the recording ended right there. That was suspect.

This message was on my voice mail. "This message is from the Cash Grant Institute in Washington, DC. Our phone number is 202-683-1404. This is not a sales call. We are calling to let you know about free grant money available from federal state and local governments. In addition we are calling to let you know that you qualify for money from public and private foundations and non-profit organizations as well as money from wealthy individuals who give away money to people like you to help you overcome your financial problems. Over 50 million dollars is waiting to be given away right now. You may be eligible to receive up to $25,000 in government, non-profit or private foundation money that you would never have to repay. The fastest way to get access to some of this grant money is to go to: requestagrant.com..." CAUTION!
If you go to this website, I recommend reading their privacy policy first! They will put you on who knows how many phone and email lists just for inquiring! I reported them first to Do Not Call Registry, then to the AZ attorney general. They appear to be preying on the poor. FYI: Check out how many offices they have around the world and how they look! Who's paying for those I wonder?!

They seem to call right at meal time or very early in the morning or late at nite, these people have little to do but call about scams. I wish there was a way to have them stopped.
