It's a scam to get ID info. AARP is not in that business & it does not call in that manner.
When I called the number back, and answering machine responded "this was a political message call and not a sales call". Then it disconnected.
I don't know who this is, but when I answer the phone they hang up. I am on a no call list, but it's not working.
Left message: 'please hold for a very important message. A representative will be with you shortly.' I hung up
Said they were AARP with retirement questions

It rang twice. When I picked up I said "hello" twice. Nobody at the other end. Silence.

Same number shows in Caller ID field. No message left on two consecutive days.
