I didnt answer. Left the message on my machine asking to press numbers if you received the yellow book. I have not but I do not care. I live in an apartment complex and they never put them at our door anymore. just leave them up in the elements up at the mailbox so most of the time they are all warped and dirty by the time you get one anyhow. pathetic. they actually have our names and apt. numbers on them yet the lazy delivery person wont put them at our doors anymore. people should not get paid for a job they dont do correctly.

I didn't answer. But I did get their book in the mail. Not interested in talking to them. Will throw away their book. If everyone threw it away and let them know it...

Very annoying and very illegal telemarketing call from Yellow Book USA. Please file a complaint with National Do Not Call register if they call you.

HI THIS IS YELLOWBOOK, CALLING TO VERIFY YOU RECIEVED YOUR NEW "YELLOW BOOK" PHONE DIRECTORY. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECIEVED THE NEW DIRECTORY, OR WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST ADDITIONAL BOOK, PLEASE CONTACT YELLOW BOOK AT 888-492-8721, TO SPEAK TO ONE OF OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRERSENTATIVES. AGAIN, THAT NUMBER IS 888-492-8721. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. GOOD BYE."

Strange, I wasn't interested in the book anyhow. With looking up my favorite places online, it makes this "book" obsolete, both at work and home.

Contrary to popular Misconception, Pre recorded messages ARE allowed to be left on machines and V/M. The FTC had not made a decision on TRS ammendment.

"Another cited reason for rejecting the proposal is that the comments showed that neither consumers nor industry support safeguards in the proposed amendment designed to ensure that consumers who receive calls delivering a recorded message could assert a company-specific do not call request as easily as they could when they receive calls from an in-person sales representative." per the FTC website.

Therefore, it's legal to leave prerecorded messages on machines and V/M. I just don't like the practice.

these assholes are back at it again.. . violating the DNC list, tossing their trash in people's property and being a pain in the ass. they are run by a jerk called Joe Wals, and their office is at 398 Rex Corporate Plaza in Uniondale, NY 11556. As soon as I get Joe's home phone, wife's name, etc. I will post it all here for you so we can all bug the shit out of him as he does to us.

Yellow book pays sub-contractors to deliver their phone books to peoples' homes. Then they call a couple of days later to verify that the sub-contractors did their job, and thus they get paid.

Left computer message to press "1" if received yellow book, "2" if did not receive. Yellow book delivered a week ago.

Ooh the more I think about it the higher my diastolic rises. Bottom feeding parasites probably want to say that since they delivered their book to me it constitutes an existing business relationship to exempt them from DNC. Like if the neighborhood thug shovelled my driveway unsolicited then knocked on the door demanding $50 for the service. I hate the Yellow Book people, can you tell?

They're the publisher of one of those fake Yellow Pages they con people into paying to advertise in, then deliver to you, hoping you'll throw out the LEGITIMATE Yellow Pages. Unfortunately a lot of people fall for it, so the businesses are trapped into buying in or not being seen.
